I like NIP-17 and I think it can be very good and smooth, with better UX than everything else (except Telegram).

I don't know if they can take Nostr to a new level of popularity, but I want to stop using Telegram and would be happy we had Android and Desktop apps that worked correctly and respected DM relays list and were in fact lightweight and fast.
