First step in building the home lab! Dad graciously handed me down a mini NAS with some still decent drives in it!
Any tips from others on building a home lab? Anything goes. I don’t even have a final goal, I’m just vibing. Primarily wanting to have a beefy local storage library, and then also host some local LLM(s), Minecraft server, node, etc. Localize everything. The sky is the limit I guess.
What do you think is a home lab essential? What are you using your home lab for?
