Two clear paths:
Race Ending & Slowdown Ending
Race Ending = international race towards ASI with cutting corners on safety. US ends up winning the race but it’s humans who lose.
Slowdown Ending = the US centralizes compute & oversight. Will other countries also slowdown?
Hopefully there’s a 3rd path that data doesn’t account for 😭
