Imagine if someone forked Damus or Amethyst and then still called the app the exact same name and then started spamming places for people to use their Damus or Amethyst forked app, confusing people. It’s just a shitty thing to do in open source to try and keep same exact project name in fork. That’s what is happening to Nym right now. To whoever forked Nym and made nymchat.com why not just pick a unique name?! It especially annoying now because on iOS/Android app stores I had to call it “Nym chat” so now people will be even more confused.
