Indeed. I learned from reading that it was used to drink wine. Red I presume, which I think at the time was still cut 50/50 with water. My theory of the shape is that wine with more surface area would breathe more. So, tastier opened up to the air and drank flat. Would love to see a Greek use it though. Awkward and spilly at best. lol
