#RunningBitcoinChallenge: For most of us, even running 21km in one go is a huge challenge. But a few can complete over 60km in harsh winter conditions with ease. Give'er a follow!

On Saturday I've completed a 62km run event, in the mountains, over frozen snow, off the beaten path.

WHY??? many of you ask me

60+km is a challenge in itself. Add mountain terrain (2700m elevation gain), barely marked trails, and the winter conditions: frozen hard-shell snow and cold. This mix of difficulties get's me going, to see how I cope. It's hard, but after a few hours the mind is cleared off, ego is replaced by acceptance. The sights of the forest, the views, the glitter of the sun on the snow, the beauty of wild game (deer, mouflon), the comaradry reward you with deep emotions.

I planned this event in advance, but the Running Bitcoin challenge gave me the extra crazy idea to run every day during the challenge period, which means there are no recovery days!
