We’re just making different comparisons, you’re comparing states within the same economy, I’m comparing between economies of different times, which may not be valid. Eg all money and assets in Chicago in 1940 are worth less than all money and assets in Chicago today. Ratios can’t identify the scale/total amount of value and that’s what I’m saying can wind up or down.
