This is a fact.
We run a small non-profit to collect money to give to disabled veterans in our spare time at my work place. Cost is about $400 to set up federal paperwork, just to get a bank account to keep money in. Then if I want to transfer it to the recipient, need two signatures, pay $25 wire fee. Local bank charges a voluntary nonprofit $10 a month for an account that is just used to provide help to those in need.
Rather have done the whole thing in bitcoin, but most people don’t donate at bake sales, poker runs and other events in bitcoin.
