GM nostr. We’re at this week’s halfway point!

Yesterday I started a new local weekly women’s Bible study. As I spend all of my days willingly isolated on the farm, it gets lonely often. Being at Bible study makes me feel more apart of a village & ‘if you want a village you’ve got be an active member’ or something like that, yada yada…

It wasn’t easy to show up alone, but they graciously welcomed me even before I was a believer some years ago. (Yes, I was that desperate for human interaction some years ago that I went to Bible study as a non-believer). And it’s not easy to walk away from my farm projects to spend time doing something that only benefits my soul. It feels selfish, but I’m beginning to learn this is necessary for me. Self-care or some crap lol? What do you guys do to fill your social cups?
