Thanks Maria. My wife and I were friends in high school and I was already drinking more than your average party kid back then. After high school I joined the army and we went our separate ways. Luckily she didn’t come back into the picture until I had been sober for a year and a half. I think it’s a big reason why she took me seriously and I was able to land her. She’s very proud and I’m thankful she never had to see me at my worst.
