I think this is proof that your emotions and brainstem reflexes are stronger than your supratentorial apparatus. And I mean this genuinely, not pejoratively or as an insult…it is very hard to overcome lifelong programming that is well tuned to take advantage of the ancient evolutionary traits of primitive neurocircuitry. In short, I don’t blame _you_ for being a tool. But you are most definitely being used for nefarious ends, even if you can’t see it (the road to hell is paved with good intentions).
