I largely agree and respect calling this out. At the same time, the affordability statistics in the US look pretty grim at the moment. IIRC, median homebuyer age up to 60 (not even a skewed average, the median), home price to average income from 3x pre-2000 to 5x now. Rents haven’t gotten cheaper either lol, it’s genuinely harder to move out in most cases.
