Honestly, I went away from fiction for a while after reading fiction my entire childhood and early adulthood… then there was a period of a few years, especially when I got into bitcoin, where I felt like I needed to only read non-fiction (Austrian economics, philosophy, etc) because I felt somehow reading fiction would be a waste of time… but then I started getting back into fiction again, and I remembered that fiction is actually the greatest teacher.
