Today, while reviewing my photographs to put together a post, I realized something very curious: If I look at the photographs without context and try to guess the era in which they were taken just by looking at the automobiles, it would seem they were taken between the years 1990 and no later than 2010...

This photography session is very special because this has been the oldest person I have photographed in my studio. She hired my services because she was about to turn 59 years old and wanted professional photographs to print and distribute among her family members, which I found extremely adorable!

A few days ago, I had the honor of being the photographer in charge of documenting the special day of a Quinceañera (15th birthday). Her parents hired my services to have a photographic record of the entire night.

I hadn't done an outdoor portrait photography session in a very long time, and yesterday I finally did one for a guy who hired my services because he wanted some photographs since his birthday was very near!
We chose an outdoor location surrounded by trees and a quite interesting walkway to play with the composition in the photographs. I started by taking a full body photography:

Today, I want to share a new set of photographs I took in my studio for a girl who hired my services because she wanted professional photographs to have on her birthday. We coordinated a day and time to do this session, where the girl used nothing more and nothing less than 3 outfits to have greater variety in her photographs!
The girl arrived at the studio wearing a beautiful black dress that created a good contrast with the white background of my studio. We started with a full body photography with balloons to evoke the birthday theme:

I was guiding the girl with the poses the entire time. With time and practice, I have managed to learn a lot of poses, and it is getting easier for me to guide people!

The first photography I took was of the groom when he first got out of the car. I took a photography of him with his two parents:

General amnesty for political prisoners in Venezuela
The interim president has announced a new law that is expected to be debated and approved next week.

Today I want to share the second part of this outdoor photography session I did for a young man. While the previous photos were for his birthday, the reason for these is different: in Venezuela, there is a tradition of "estrenar" clothes in December. Basically, it means wearing brand new clothes that you have never worn before on December 24th and 31st.

On this occasion, I want to share a photography session I did in my studio for two Pilates instructors. They hired my services because they needed professional photographs to create advertising flyers for a class they will be teaching in a few days.
The first thing I did was take a couple of photographs of them together with their mats to establish the Pilates theme:

Update about venezuela's political situation
DELCY RODRIGUEZ WILL HAVE TO SUBMIT A MONTHLY BUDGET TO THE UNITED STATES FOR APPROVAL.
These were Marco Rubio's statements regarding Venezuela in the United States Senate on January 28, 2026.
- The funds to be used will be exclusively for the benefit of the Venezuelan people. They will have to send us a budget every month, and we will certify how they can and cannot spend that money.
- Delcy Rodríguez's position is not permanent.
- Cooperation is not an option for the regime; its survival depends on it.
- We have never been in a better position than today for a free Venezuela.
- The regime will receive funds that will be meticulously monitored by the US. They will be used to help Venezuelans.
- US companies want to invest, but they need trust and security.
- The interim regime is cooperating, and for now, that's working for the US.

Today, I am happy to share with you this new set of photographs I took for none other than a group of 6 friends. All of them are classmates who organized to hire my services on their graduation day, as they were wearing beautiful gala dresses and wanted to have a lovely memory to last a lifetime.
During the shoot, we only had a maximum of 10 minutes per girl. We managed to take quite a few photos, and then I chose my favorites for editing:

Each girl had a very different personality from the next, and I had to adapt very quickly to bring out the best in each one.

When it came to choosing the shots, I tried to select the greatest variety possible so that the photographs wouldn't all look the same, for that reason, there are only a few photos of each girl.

One of my goals this year is to organize my finances as a photographer so I can enhance my work and, consequently, the content I create.
What will I aim to do?
- Cover my living expenses ($330) through online content monetization, editing work, side gigs, etc.
Basically, I want to free up the money I earn from photoshoots so I can reinvest it in photography equipment and offer better work, which will allow me to attract more clients and charge higher rates.
So, in order to achieve that, you'll see me here much more often, sharing better content with you.

Today I want to share a new set of photographs I took in my studio for a girl who hired my services because she was about to turn 15 years old, her mother wanted professional photos so the memory would last them a lifetime.
The girl did not want the typical quinceañera photos with the giant, pompous dress, she wanted something more casual that she could use for her social media on a day to day basis, so the first outfit she used was something simple but it made her feel very comfortable, which was reflected in how well the first photos turned out:

I chose to start with this large cube to be able to take full body photos and give the girl something to lean on, that way she would not feel stiff while not knowing what to do:

Then I put another cube in the set to take some photographs with the girl sitting on it, I helped her with the poses during the whole process:

And then we took a photo with the girl sitting on the floor, here we wanted the birthday balloons to be visible already, since after all, it was a birthday photo session haha:

At this point, the girl changed her clothes and we started the real birthday photo session, we included the balloons in all the photos, first we took a full body photo:
