But this doesn't work, you need to link video files directly. VidStr requires you to upload your video file.

Btw, I also built a video client using #ShakespeareDIY. It supports regular (21/22), addressable (34235/34236) and a legacy version of NIP-71 before imeta tags were introduced (also 34235/34236). So it has maximum compatibility.

At some point I told you about #ShakespeareDIY and how you could use it to vibecode a new BFF page, right? Well, how about letting the people in Africa vibecode as well? https://shakespeare.diy - it can use any OpenAI compatible API and even local models from what I heard, however I didn't try local models yet. If you use Shakespeare's own AI provider, credits can be topped up using Lightning.

The section for this would be:
When the user wants to create an application that uses AI, implement compatibility with any OpenAI compatible API as well as Shakespeare AI. Shakespeare AI is itself an OpenAI compatible API that uses NIP-98 login instead of an API key or bearer token. The main url of Shakespeare AI is https://ai.shakespeare.diy/v1. Shakespeare AI has an additional endpoint /credits that shows the remaining credits of the user. For text chat, the standard model is "claude-sonnet-4.5" and the image generation model is "gpt-image-1".
Feel free to improve this prompt if I got anything wrong or missed anything important.

I have done multiple transactions in order to be able to update my projects and I also have generated quite a few stories using my story generator which uses Shakespeare AI. Now after getting my Erwerbsminderungsrente, I wanted to top up 50$ credits and suddenly it said possible fraud detected and now I can't send anything anymore to Shakespeare AI. The same happened to my OpenRouter account btw, can't top up that anymore since months as well.

Nein. VidStr benutzt, wie so viele Clients heute, Blossom-Server (NIP-B7) für Datei-Uploads. Bei VidStr sowie den anderen Apps, die man mit shakespeare.diy baut, ist standardmäßig blossom.primal.net voreingestellt. Da ich VidStr selbst gebaut habe, kann ich auch nachträglich, wenn es nötig ist, eine bessere Vorauswahl von Blossom-Servern einbauen.
Vor Blossom gab es übrigens NIP-96, was heute ebenfalls noch genutzt wird, aber einige Nachteile wohl hat und von ShakespeareDIY nicht wirklich unterstützt wird.
Ich könnte es auch einrichten, dass man eine eigene Medien-URL benutzen kann, sodass du z.B. auch hier weiter nostr.build nutzen kannst. VidStr ist nur eins von mehreren Frontends, die NIP-71 (Videos) verwenden. Bei Nostr funktioniert wirklich vieles anders als in Legacy sozialen Netzwerken. Und besser.

Sorry, aber ich werde garantiert kein VPN verewenden, über dessen Funktionsweise nichts bekannt ist. Wenn ich ein VPN benutze, dann Mullvad, weil es Open Source ist (wie auch Bitcoin) und weil es kein KYC gibt - lediglich eine zufallsgenerierte Kundennummer, die man sich wie einen Private Key sichert.
