I've been trying some vibecoding in the Claude app and it's hit or miss. It doesn't seem to have the full grasp of the code and project so it can add or change things that aren't needed. Works great for small bug fixes thought. Anything larger and I use it to draft a PR that I then have Claude code on my desktop recheck. Saves me some time since it has a head start. Plus I can draft said Pats at work.

We need people using more than just Fountain. I still think most people only use Fountain to Boost and still listen in other apps. That's just a guess but it's based off of what I've seen and heard over the years.
Lots of #vibecoding going on but not much in the podcasting space.
My focus is music and helping the devs at Podverse, Castamatic and PodcastGuru out as much as I can because those apps are light years ahead of anything I'd ever make.
but at the end of the day if your using anything but Apple or Spotify to listened to podcast it's a win in my book.

I should add that stablekraft.app matches on artists name so if the publisher feeds have the same artists name they will show up on the same page. In longy's case the names are different so he has 2 publisher pages on SK. Longy and Longy-Everything

So taking Prosperous Soul as an example they have tracks hosted in 3 different places with 3 different publisher feeds. It's only 27 unique tracks but that turns in 51 tracks across all 3 feeds.
What I did on stablekraft.app was list each publisher feed separately since each place might have different tracks and even the same track will have different "Value Blocks" and maybe even different metadata.
So what should be a clean page with just the tracks listed for your enjoyment turns in to a giant list of duplicates.
It's my app so I get to choose what I show but removing the dups means I have to pick one version over the other. For apps that are also host they can just show what they host since that makes sense for them.
I'll have to think about this more but having to hand curate each publisher page isn't something I want to do so I think I'm leaving it like this for now since it doesn't affect many artist.

Correct. @npub1c39…2lhm is having this issue with Longy right now which is what started this convo.
Longy has a Wavlake and Self Hosted publisher feed now.
Could all of this be combined somehow? Maybe but if you have the same music in 2 places that also gets confusing if they are combined b/c then you would have duplicate items unless you filter out the duplicates but which ones get filtered out?

One of the issues with #V4V music is that most people think it's only Wavlake or Fountain so your discovery of new music is up to what they show you on some trending chart that only has a small percentage of the songs out there.
v4vmusic.com is trying to solve that with user ratings, playlists and a tagging system.

Its really increased over the last say 2 years but you only really notice it if your looking at the full catalog of V4V music and the new stuff being uploaded because you are looking for new stuff to play on a music podcast.
There was a music show called Sats & Sounds that stopped after 100 episodes about 6-7 months ago because he got tired of sifting through all the AI slop and the lightning stuff was at a stalemate.

This was one of the reasons @npub15z2…6q95, myself and a few others started building new apps and services to help the real artists out there have an easier time with all of this stuff. It takes more work all around but if your building out a new way for artists to own their own stuff and get paid you might as well swing for the fences and try to gain as much control as you can.
Myself, @npub15z2…6q95 (Lightning Thrashes & v4vmusic.com), Salty from @npub1nnk…p49m, TJ from @npub14c7…l5l2, @npub1uqw…43la (It's A Mood & Mike's Mixtapes) and @npub1f49…zpez (dude that really loves cassette tapes) even did a podcast together about Kevin's blog post because it really hit home for us since he was one of the OGs.
