Last year I bought a beefy gaming PC and I made it beefier. I have had many, MANY PCs over the years, but this is the first time I have ever had a PC where I can play current modern games and not just retro stuff.
No brag this PC is amazing.
I could play literally anything...
I bought it precisely not for work stuff...
But...
It's just nice having a nice computer to work with. So that's what I've been doing with it. LOL

I have a secure locked down laptop to deal with a client's sensitive data. Of course, I don't have admin rights, or BIOS password, and I don't own the device so I can't install anything on it.
The laptop is very old.
But the laptop has Windows 11 on it.

It's wild because the news is full of deplorable men. Men which shouldn't even be called men. Men who abuse. Men who corrupt. Men who shouldn't be called men but bullies and criminals.
And yet, on a random trip, almost unplanned (it was supposed to be tomorrow and not me on the ambulance) I found a man I could respect.
A old man who will never be famous but will have the love of his children.

I took an ambulance with my mother to an inpatient facility where she will stay for now. She is fine.
When we arrived to her room. The roomate had visitors. A younger woman. And an old man. The man was complaining loudly about how cold it was.

I don't usually watch magical girl anime, but I remember watching somewhere, for sure more than 20 years ago a particular scene. I would like to find it/know which anime it's from.
In the scene, a witch girl on a flying broom dogfights what seems like entire squadrons of aircraft.
I figure this scene is not entirely uncommon, but somehow it felt too well animated (to me) to be an episode os something, it felt like movie quality.
Any ideas what movie it might be?

However, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the stick got even shorter, and we should be prepared for it, at least mentally.
On the other hand, USian armed forces used to test ordnance/bombs here until at least one person was killed. This was not too long ago. I bet they would love to go back to that and worse.

Sometimes I get replies that make me question whether I am writing correct English or what. Then, some other times, I read the replies to other people's toots and... My goodness.
Some people really don't seem to read what is written, but whatever bias and preconceived notions they already had in their mind. It is both interesting and unnerving. It gives me a sense that not all people are entirely connected to an objective reality.
And I wonder if I do the same.

Half asleep. Dreaming about guillotines. Happy. Put on alert by a very real explosion. Utility company transformer or junction box exploded in the distance. Sounded scary. I still have power though.
