I don't understand why people talk about “stupid Americans” and single out Americans as the stupidest nation in the world.
Having lived in different countries for the past few years, I can say with confidence that most people are equally stupid in any country, and to universal stupidity you can add local stupidity, which varies from country to country.
Take Germany, for example. Most people there are very, very naive in the sense that they think the state has nothing better to do than to think about how to make the life of the average German better, and people are happy to pay taxes. I listened to the interview while making dinner, about how some folks in the BTC community are trying to clean up Blockstream / Bitcoin Core from uncle Epstein's dirty money.
Honestly, it didn't sound convincing.
Simon Dixon talks about how decentralized Bitcoin is, and a couple of minutes later he talks about how Adam Back decided to bring all the most advanced developers under one roof (Blockstream) + how some of Bitcoin Core received money from the MIT Digital Currency Initiative (which also received money from uncle Epstein).
In other words, uncle Jeffrey sponsored both sides (Blockstream + MIT DCI) that were directly working on Bitcoin.
Yeah, that really smells like decentralization.
Also, I don't understand why there is so much negativity towards Tether (USDT), which successfully pumped the price of BTC to 120k...
A nice thing is that BTC fans are just as fed up with the "privacy coin psyop." 😌
And finally, the standard mantra of "everyone should put their energy into Bitcoin" began.
But this was especially funny: "So if you want to discredit Bitcoin, then fine. But understand, you're supporting things that are doing a lot worse. But the solution is not another altcoin."
But I'm not complaining. I'm not one of those who wants to "save Bitcoin", da boyz are fine.

Lol, I'm not one of those who believe that Bitcoin was created by uncle Epstein.
I don't even care about his investments and dozens of crypto projects/companies.
But what is interesting is the influence on Blockstream / Bitcoin Core. And even that "interesting" part is more of a confirmation of some "conspiracy theories".
I haven't cared about Bitcoin since 2017.
Oh, and I'm sick of the narrative that "Bitcoin is a store of value". But if that's how you see it, go ahead and use BTC however you want.

I so fucking regret promoting #Matrix 10 years ago.
It was shit 10 years ago, and it's still shit today.
A zoo of clients, none of which work properly.
The main server Synapse is on Python. 🤦🏻‍♂️
Dendrite (on Go) is in alpha~beta since 2017 up to this day.
The main client "Element Desktop" is based on Electron (= shit).
It's just fucking awful.
And it shows the level of European IT tech.
The only thing I like is that Matrix sucks money out of different governments, and in 10 years they haven't been able to do anything decent, which shows once again that all Europe and the EU can produce is bureaucracy and to redo what has already been redone so that you can start redoing it again.

I also noticed something that wasn't there before. And I think that's the reason why some posts are sometimes invisible.
For some reason, some relays, _randomly_ lose connection in the web version. But this has never happened in the Android version.

Even before the New Year, you deployed a new web version. Well, most likely I missed some answers.
I think I've found a solution. After deploying the new web version, I need to:
1) clear the cache
2) clear cookies
3) log out of the web version
4) log in
5) add relays manually
6) for the reply I didn't see, I did "Republish" and selected the same relays, and only then did I see the missing answer in the web version

Yes, I like Jumble too. It's simple and, most importantly - fast.
But I like how Yakihonne handles replies to posts better, and the fact that you can customize them a little. That is, some threads are clearly easier to follow with your eyes in Yakihonne, basically like a forum threads, because you can immediately see who replied to whom, while in Jumble everything is collapsed (minimized) by default, and you can't change that.
Also, for some strange reason, I can't connect Jumble (PWA) to Citrine (Android). It just doesn't see it. I reported this bug to the lead developer of Jumble, and he said he fixed it, but it still doesn't work for me.

I have 2 devices: ThinkPad (Arch Linux) + GrapheneOS.
I spend most of my time on my laptop, so I need a decent web client first and foremost.
I like Yakihonne, but it sometimes lets me down, like today - it didn't display the reply, and then I accidentally saw the reply in Yakihonne (Android). Even though both use the same relays.
Then I decided to check other clients, both web and Android, and they all see the reply that Yakihonne (Web) doesn't see.
And yes, I have Amethyst :).
