The "nanny state" actors do love their Hegelian dialectic.
It's simple and effective: problem, reaction, solution.
They want to usher in 1984 style panopticon measures but they can't just roll that stuff out without pushback. They must first manufacture consent. This is why the institutional schools typically do not teach discernment in the forms of logic, logical fallacies, argumentation, debate, etc. That would armor the populace with the discernment necessary to see through the logically fallacious tactics used by the nanny state to manufacture consent.
They use fear to elicit reactions from the people who then respond in a predictable way. The people clamor for a solution which the nanny state is more than happy to give them. The solution is a Trojan horse: a threat to the people's well being masquerading as a benefit. Covid was a great, recent case study for this kind of social engineering technique.

3) Depending on one's local jurisdiction, one may be required to comply with certain homeschooling regulations so that's probably the first place to start. Beyond that, it would be appropriate to create a skeleton outline of various subjects that kids typically study in institutional schools, public or private. Certain subjects could be cut and other subjects could be added as deemed appropriate by the parents. Ideally the child's interests are heavily accounted for in the development of the curriculum.
Obviously if the child wants to eat nothing but candy and ice cream for their meals every day, the parent needs to step in and make sure that the child's diet is balanced and nutritious. If the child only wants to do art or music all of the time, the parents are going to need to find creative ways to merge those interests with other subjects of import like math, science, history, etc. It's a lot like orange pilling: meet the child where they are and find ways to connect their interests to other subjects that would be beneficial for them to study.
If starting with young children who are preschool aged, certain developmental work is appropriate to build a foundation including the ability to identify left from right, the development of handwriting muscles, visual field calibration, pattern recognition, etc. These things can often be worked as games so they are enjoyable for the child. It is important that education sessions are not allowed to become negative. If a session becomes negative, pull the plug and start a tickle fight or do something silly or playful with the child and move on. You can always circle back later or the next day as needed.
Daily study is important. See Ebbinghaus's forgetting curve. Daily review before sleep times is important. Gauging the child's saturation levels throughout each work session is important to avoid burnout. Decay checks are important. Make sure to circle back to subjects they've mastered 6 months ago to make sure they've retained their mastery level.
Accounting for the child's unique neurology is important. Do they have a strong need for propriety, completion, novelty, etc.? Are they visual, auditory, or kinesthetic or a combination of some or all? Are they night owls or morning larks? Tailor your approach based on these factors and any other observations you may notice. Set the child up for success in their educational pursuits by clearing the path and abiding the Golden Rule. If they've given you a good 10-20 minutes of focused attention on subject X and they're showing signs of saturation with subject X, it's advised to find a good stopping point ASAP and switch to something else. This will allow the learning to continue without burnout or negativity creeping in to spoil the session. Switch tasks should be sufficiently different from whatever they were just doing. Manipulative puzzles and hands on work is a good switch from visual processing work or lectures that are heavy on auditory processing and note taking. Respect the child's attitude, feedback, body language, etc. Treat it like jiu-jitsu. Take what they give you and roll with it.
Talk to other home school parents who may have already been through the process and see what tools they've tried and which ones they recommend using or avoiding. Home school co-ops are worth checking out for the same reason. It's probably not ideal to switch up what tools you use constantly, but on the other hand don't be afraid to cut and run if a particular tool isn't getting much traction.
People tend to be creatures of habit so if at all possible, use that to the advantage of the mission. It takes about 3 weeks of daily execution for a daily habit to form. Ideally such a habit can be "installed" into the child's sense of normal, everyday life when they are about 4-5 years old. Kids are in a theta dominant neural oscillation state from about 2-7 years old. Theta dominant neural oscillation states are states in which the mind learns rapidly and soaks up everything like a sponge. Phenoms often started in their area of phenomenal talent when they were in this stage of life and were immersed in that area for multiple years during the theta phase. This is a hugely important key. If you can take advantage of the theta phase to establish a robust daily study habit, and carry that through beyond age 7, you're in business.

I have no trouble buying that the early parts of Metamorphoses are consistent with some of the stories from Genesis, but as @npub1qcn…u2np pointed out, Ovid wrote that in 8 CE whereas Moses most likely wrote Genesis well over a thousand years before Christ.
I think the consistencies are very important. They're not only consistent with each other, they're consistent with the Kolbrin, the Epic of Gilgamesh, and other sources.
In the book I'm writing, I offer insights into the story of Adam and Eve, the great flood stories, and the Tower of Babel. I still have work to do on it but I've got over 200 pages written up and almost none of it is AI generated. I'm hoping to finish it this year.

Why do etymologists think that so many words originated from Latin roots?

Roman hegemons created the Latin iron curtain of etymology for the same reason they killed off all of the most accurate early Christian preachers and for the same reason they built roads all over: they wanted to sweep away the truth and centralize authority for themselves.
Christ traveled during the missing years from the canonical gospels. Note: “canonical” means the same thing as “fiat”. Roman hegemons didn’t want people to follow “the way” which meant abiding the Golden Rule, i.e. loving your neighbors as yourself. To do that requires learning the words and the ways of others, e.g. the Druids, the Egyptians, the Hindus, and the Buddhists.

2) Not at all. It was a fictional narrative, but the Good Will Hunting character demonstrates that autodidacts are some of the most intelligent people on the planet. Products of academia often have "horse blinders" installed by their professors which prevent them from seeing peripherals. Autodidacts are often the outside the box thinking renegades who wind up making waves in this world.
My favorite example of someone who changed the world and didn't go to college was Itzhak Bentov. I talked about him in Once Bitten 562. I believe his work was so important that the "powers that be", the "shadowy string pullers" and power brokers on this planet unalived him. It's awfully weird that he died 2 years after he wrote his book, and then 4 years after he died, he was the most cited person in what was, at the time, classified military intelligence research into paranormal espionage techniques during the Cold War.
We're all ignorant in some way, shape, or form, so parents without college educations are not exceptions to that rule. If anything, this presents an opportunity to function stack in a win win win scenario. As your child grows and must learn new things, the parents can demonstrate the proper way to contend with personal ignorance. It's actually somewhat ideal for the child to witness their parents admitting their ignorance and choosing to overcome that ignorance by studying something new. It's an excellent example of how to parent, how to learn post-school, how to be humble, how to be diligent, etc. It also gives the child comfort knowing they have a study buddy. In some cases, the child may acquire, consolidate, and master the new material before the parent which offers the child the opportunity to further solidify their understanding by teaching the parent. As they say, if you can teach it, then you know it.

I'm gonna break up answering these across multiple days I think.
1) Yes. It depends on what kind of full time jobs each parent has and what their schedules look like. It also depends on their level of commitment and how much they're willing to compromise. Homeschooling isn't necessarily the same thing as "education of children directly by their parents". Homeschooling co-ops are things and if you find such a group, you might find that you're ok with letting the co-op handle X% of your kids education. If self-directed learning can be established in a systemic way, you may not even need the co-op. There are options. The key to doing it right is no different in an institutional school or in a home school. The child must be profiled in a variety of ways and the curriculum must be adapted to the child based upon that profile.
The curriculum depends on the local regulations. Obviously the core subjects like reading, writing, mathematics. science, and history are appropriate subjects to cover. Computer skills, art, music, physical fitness, culinary arts, shop, auto shop, etc. are all good subjects to cover. Some may be more interest based but others are just plain useful, especially the computer skills and auto shop skills. Physical fitness and culinary arts are important for establishing a healthy body. There are a wide variety of ways to work these subjects. Ideally work in every subject is based upon the interests of the child.
Profiling the child is important. Are they sing-songy? If so, they may be auditory dominant as a coder. If they're really into video games or sports, they may be a visual dominant coder. If they're very hands on, they may be a kinesthetic or tactile coder. These details matter. Lean on the strengths, but develop the weaknesses. If they're a visual coder, giving them auditory instructions will be a higher degree of difficulty for them. Keep things like that in mind.
Timing is important. Time of day matters. Some people are more of a morning lark and others more of a night owl. Likewise, the amount of time spent on any given learning session needs to be monitored. If they give you a good work session of 20 minutes and then their body language shifts and they get "ants in the pants" or start complaining or sighing or yawning or show signs of easy distraction...they're saturated. Find a good stopping point and switch tasks. Manipulative logic puzzles and games are good switch tasks because they're still learning but they'll encode the activity as play.
Daily study is important. Occasionally, there may be a day where you're so busy there's basically no time for study. Find a way to work it in, even if that means doing a "decay check" on a subject or skill they've mastered 6 months or a year ago while driving around in the car.
Ultimately it is an investment and you'll get out what you and the child are willing to put in.

Many Bitcoiners realize that Bitcoin will help end war by realigning incentives.
This will, in turn, affect the economic calculus of capital allocation.
Rather than building drones and bombs, more would-be warring factions will realize the economic folly of that choice and, instead, build power plants that were previously cost-prohibitive, ASICs, and facilities to house and operate them.
This will reduce the amount of war that takes place by a significant amount, but it will not end war.
Here's why:
There are currently bullets and bombs flying about in the name of God.
Many of the most extreme religious dogmatists cannot be reasoned with.
That's what makes them dogmatists.
In order to relegate extreme religious dogmatism to the annals of history, the numbers of each dogmatist camp must be reduced until they are the size of the modern KKK.
Nowadays, when the KKK holds a rally, they draw something pathetic like 400 people from a 10 state area.
Those are paltry numbers and, as such, they are unable to fundraise to any meaningful degree to affect their hateful and bigoted agenda.
If the legacy dogmatist religious camps can be rug-pulled by a scientifically based perspective that acknowledges whatever truths there are to be found within each religion and makes sense of every historical religious tradition, the agnostics, the spiritual but not religious, and the fringe members of the various religions will join together under this banner of unity and truth.
As fringe members abandon the legacy dogmatist camps, the legacy dogmatist camps will shrink and have less fundraising power to be misallocated towards war.
This scientifically based perspective is like Bitcoin.
It is already here; it is just unevenly distributed.
If you're serious about ending the era of war on Earth, it will be necessary to end the era of the Tower of Babel in which nobody speaks one another's spiritual language.
Loving your neighbors includes speaking their spiritual language and that, like Bitcoin, requires proof of work.
Humanity needs missionaries who are polyglots when it comes to spiritual lingo.
Such people can speak to anyone from any religious tradition, demonstrate proof of work in conversation, become an ally, and then a translator who can teach people how to unite neighbor with neighbor, fulfilling the Golden Rule found in every tradition.
The Golden Rule is about seeing things from the perspective of others and treating them accordingly.
Every tradition has a variant of this which tells us at least two things:
1. It's important.
2. Humans suck at putting it into practice. If we were all doing a great job of this, every religious tradition wouldn't need to try to teach it to us as that would be redundant.
It's not enough to fix the money if we want to end war.
We have to be willing to leave the comfort of our known base camps.
We have to be willing to learn the words and the ways of our neighbors.
The only holy war is between love and fear.

There are numerous toolsets available for homeschooler parents to select from for their homeschooling pursuits. Speaking from personal experience at the learning center, we had a series of booklets ranging from 16-20 sides of a page. The lower levels, 1-23, were 16 pages, and the upper levels, 24-32, were 20 pages. The lower levels had 18 "basic" thinking booklets and 12 "critical" thinking booklets and there was a similar split for the upper levels.
We used these booklets as a painter uses paints. We didn't necessarily go strictly in numerical order because sometimes we disagreed with the order in which the books should be presented/completed. We would sometimes mix and match, half of a basic book and half of a critical book. Sometimes we would assign all critical books with only one/two pages of a basic book per day.
Certain mathematical concepts need to be learned, especially if the child has been observed to have a predisposition towards engineering or construction. Montessori has a lot of hands on stuff so it sound like their materials may be a good fit. The Korean system called Eye Level is probably more child friendly than the Japanese Kumon system because of color and the presence of critical thinking, puzzles, etc. within the Eye Level system.
I would encourage you to check in with homeschool parents who have homeschooled multiple children already, collect their recommendations for materials and methods, and kick the tires, so to speak. There are websites like Khan Academy that would probably be useful at certain stages. Some sites will be paid and others free.
It probably wouldn't be the worst thing to spend a month creating a skeleton outline of the full curriculum of concepts you want to present to the child by getting curricula from various schools and taking the union of all curriculum sets. Some will have thing others do not and vice versa. You can include it all in yours or exclude things you don't see as relevant or useful. Once you have your curricula established for the child's duration of home schooling, as you explore various booklet sets or educational websites or homeschooling systems, you can compare them to the skeleton outline you've created and see how well each will complete your overall "puzzle".

Bought a mortar and pestle and it came with seasoning instructions.
Looked it up and found other independent sources indicating that this is the proper way to ready a mortar and pestle for use.
While truth doesn't necessarily proceed upon consensus, when there is a consilience that forms, I tend to consider that to be signal emerging from the noise that is worthy of deeper consideration and research.

Use of a mortar and pestle has proof of work baked in as it must first be “seasoned”, similar to how cast iron must be seasoned before it can be properly used.
To season a mortar and pestle, first you must wash, WITHOUT SOAP, both pieces. Do this with water and a clean sponge.
Next, grind white rice into rice flour using the mortar and pestle. This will remove grit and polish the porous surfaces on both pieces. Do this repeatedly until the rice flour is white, not grey. This part of the process is work intensive.
Without rinsing, add some garlic cloves, coarse salt, a handful of cumin seed, and a bit of whole coriander into the mortar and grind it all into a paste. Coat the entire inner surface area of the mortar and the grinding areas of the pestle with this paste.
Let this paste remain coating your mortar and pestle overnight. Bare minimum, a few hours, but half a day would be closer to ideal. Rinse the paste out USING ONLY WATER, NO SOAP.
At this point your mortar and pestle are seasoned and ready for use.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Great job on the write up! I'm no English teacher but, as a lay man critic I'll say that your words were able to transport me through time and space to be there with you guys for that experience.

Great stuff! I already knew a good amount of your story but this offered new and greater detail so it was great to get to know you better.
Loved the parts about religion, spirituality, cryptochrome, psychedelics, and past lives, for sure. @npub1756…jv6a sounds like he would enjoy my research as I avoid dogmatistic attachment to any given tradition, explore them all with open mind, avoid throwing the baby out with the bathwater, and try my hardest to remain grounded in science to support my positions.
My research into near death experiences echoes what you said, that it's not just the panoramic life review. One experiences the domino effects of one's actions and this, I believe, is the single greatest force of karma there is. We are our own judge in that moment. If we horrify ourselves, we're going to want to "go back" and seek to rebalance the scales, so to speak, and make up for our missteps. The single most effective path to eliminating karmic debts is forgiveness and "letting it go" (but not necessarily forgetting).
Loved getting the recap of your spiritual experiences with meditation. It's been a while since we first talked about that. I believe kundalini awakening was how we first connected on X before you took the orange pill :) That was super helpful to me because I was still early in my exploration of how varied kundalini experiences can be. That seems like a lifetime ago lol. Since then I've stacked over 200 books and written over 200 pages.

It sounds like I need to visit that place and have a look at the petroglyphs and see if anything stands out to me. I visited Cahokia Mounds with @npub15ym…kwwx a while ago and while it wasn't a petroglyph, I did notice some very interesting symbols on the tourist info signs that were distributed upon "Monk's Mound".
I wouldn't be shocked if the Lake Meade light experience was some kind of UAP event. The owl encounter may very well have been a confirmation of that as owls are technically "raptor" birds. Raptor and rapture are clearly related. Both consist of "Ra" and "pt" which suggests "opener of the light" or "sculptor of the light". My research has yielded cause to consider the idea that raptor birds are used by "higher beings" to warn or to affirm. I would consider that owl sighting to have been an affirmation of the light experience. My interpretation is that it was an anomalous experience caused by "higher beings" intended precisely to encourage all who experienced it to seek answers. Seeking truth is something they encourage with these types of events.
I got kicked off of Twitter because I got excited about my discovery of how sarcophagi were used in Egypt, created a thread, and then shared the link to that thread with a couple dozen friends via DMs. Twitter's algo flagged that as SPAM and declared me an "inauthentic user". Attempts to appeal the suspension never yielded anything other than automated responses, likely because I didn't pay for a blue check. It probably didn't help my case that I'd blocked a few hundred XRP accounts. 😅

Many early Bitcoin/crypto people are either uneducated on logical fallacies or they are just hypocrites.
“I was right about Bitcoin, therefore you should listen to me on subject X” is the composition fallacy a.k.a. the “part-to-whole” fallacy.
Just because the tires are made of rubber, doesn’t mean the whole car is made of rubber.
I see this same logical fallacy committed by religious dogmatists, racists, Democrats, Republicans, etc.

I’m with you dude. My research methods have been almost entirely devoid of AI usage.
In order to gain high level overviews of tradition X or philosopher Y, I used others YouTube content. If I wanted to explore, say, Giordano Bruno, I would search his name, throw a playlist of half a dozen videos about him together, and listen through them all, figuring that some videos will cover things others didn’t and, in general, they’d offer me the ability to “triangulate” a decent approximation of who Bruno was and what he was about.
If that process yields signal rather than noise, then I would follow up by buying physical books by him or about him to study later on. In the last 2~3 years I’ve stacked well over 200 books on dozens of topics.
I read. I underline. I harvest quotes. I write my own content and incorporate quotes as appropriate. Almost none of the over 200 pages I have written up consists of AI generated content. There’s a little bit in there, but I presently have zero AI subscriptions, so anything AI generated came from the fact that search engines have integrated AI into their offerings of search results.

My research is going very well!
I’ve landed on a title for the book I’m writing: “What’s in a Name?: The Language of the Birds”.
I didn’t realize until just a few months ago that that’s what I was doing: translating the Language of the Birds (occult green language).
I set up a LLC. Working towards getting my “sovereign computing stack” in proper order. After that, I’m planning on setting up a website. After that, I’m planning on setting up a podcast feed and converting the Sunday Flight Club study group sessions into podcasts. Hopefully by the time all that’s done, the book manuscript will be ready to be presented to publishers.
I’ve figured out a lot of things that never really made sense to me until this research bender. As an autodidactic polyglot lyrical genius, I think you’re gonna love what I’ve put together. It’s weird but I’m a mathematician and engineer yet I somehow found myself doing a lot of trailblazing in the areas of philology and etymology. 🤷‍♂️😅
My thought is that Bitcoin will do a lot to disincentivize war but rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth religious dogmatists will still be willing to misallocate capital towards religiously motivated violence. I’m hoping that, on a long enough timeline, my work rugpulls their motivations and helps Bitcoin to usher in the end of the era of the Tower of Babel and peace on Earth. It’s ambitious but I think I have an open shot on goal, so I might as well shoot my shot. Even if I don’t see it happen in my lifetime, society grows great when old men plant trees underneath whose shade they shall never sit.

I like alternative writing methods.
I'm sure I've tried writing with my feet when I was grade school aged but my favorite and most useful forms of alternative writing were the Da Vinci mirror font and upside down writing, respectively.
The Da Vinci mirror font is just a fun challenge.
Working with students who were sitting across the table from me made upside down writing a useful skill to develop and it helped me develop empathy for preschool aged kids who struggle to remember how to write lowercase b, d, p, and q. They're all just a ball and a stick with minor left-right and up-down connections.

I recently read Rocky Patel's books about lavender and rose essential oils and got some of both oils from him.
His website is praniclifestyle.com if you're looking to get any.
The late Dr. Robert Gilbert vouched for him and regularly used Rocky's "Super Ananda Spray" almost like a spiritual Lysol spray to clear detrimental vibrations from stones, your hands, etc.
Warning: if you have any cats, lavender is toxic to them.

Lavender essential oil might be a good add. There’s a good reason Roman baths used lavender.
Epsom salts are a good dispersant for essential oils in baths. Linalool reduces feelings of stress and promotes relaxation. Linalyl acetate is profoundly relaxing, anti-spasmodic, and strongly anti-inflammatory.

Also, I totally cited the empty cup Zen koan in the Flight Club study group session earlier today. It’s the same lesson as the eye of the needle parable. Basically we have to be open to receive. Interesting observation, especially in light of the trope of the enlightened sage living in some mountaintop monastery somewhere.
I can tell you that theta neural oscillations are key to spiritual awakenings.
Taking your post as inspiration, I asked a search engine what high altitude living does to neural oscillation patterns. The AI component of the search engine pointed out that alpha and beta bands are reduced while theta band synchronization (increased power) can be observed, particularly during cognitive tasks, indicating increased effort to manage tasks in low-oxygen conditions.
I think the answer to your question is a resounding yes :)

Whoever put that superhero logo together knew something about spiritual symbolism.
That logo is basically the Greek phi, the Japanese naka, and the Chinese zhong.
Based on my research, it seems that all of them are basically a chakra being penetrated by the kundalini serpent.
Chi (Div Masc), rho (Div Fem), and phi (Div Child, enlightened being) are all captured in that one image of a "hero" or a "(c)hi rho".

I just read a book about rose essential oils and found a ton of esoteric symbolism in it that relates it to the Divine Feminine. Aphrodite, Isis, and Nu Gua all have correspondence to roses. The Nu Gua connection was a shot in the dark but it landed a bullseye when I tossed into a search engine and proceeded to learn that the nuwa rose is a Chinese rose bush...Nu Gua...nuwa...basically the same phonetic profile. Then there is the Rosicrucian connection with Chi and Rho alliteratively represented by the Cross and the Rose.

Dolores Cannon’s books are great! “Jesus and the Essenes” and “They Walked with Jesus” are important, for sure. There is interest out there. I haven’t ever used her books as Flight Club study group material but I have definitely talked about how much her book content independently validates the content of The Law of One which we have been studying for a while. I don’t know how much of DC’s material has been included in my book but I would guess it represents at least a handful of pages, spread out across a couple hundred pages.

Sir, I’ve got chills reading this for multiple reasons.🫂
1. Thank you for sharing your past life regression experiences. It’s always nice to get anecdotal confirmations, especially involving the type of soul bond you have with your daughter. I found several similar reincarnation connections in Dr. Ian Stevenson MD’s research out of the University of Virginia. It’s powerful stuff.
2. I think you’ve nailed it with the Bible censorship. That happened about 1700 years ago when the Bible was “canonized”. As Bitcoin advocates, we tend to regard the word “fiat” with great disdain. I would suggest that the word “canonical” is synonymous with fiat, especially in light of the existence of the Nag Hammadi library and the Dead Sea Scrolls. I see the Dead Sea Scrolls, in particular, as an emergency time capsule jettisoned to prevent the Romans from destroying what they considered to have been significant historical and spiritual documents. Christ traveled all over. It just so happens that all roads lead to Rome. I’m sure historians will articulate a buffet of rationales for their construction of all these roads, but I have to imagine that one of the big reasons was to facilitate the conquering of all lands to which Christ traveled and learned in order to sweep away the traces of those travels. They did a damn good job but as Buddha said, three things cannot remain hidden long: the sun, the moon, and the truth. They failed to sweep away Joseph of Arimathea’s domination of the global tin trade and his connections to the Druids on the English Isle. They failed to sweep away the records Nicolas Notovitch found at the Himis monastery (before the Maoists brought that effort to greater completion themselves). They couldn’t sweep away oral traditions either.

Agreed. The various religious traditions are all consistent of both baby and bathwater. The literalists and dogmatists staunchly insist that their chosen religious tradition is all baby and no bathwater whereas every religious tradition to which they are not attached is all bathwater and no baby. The atheists staunchly insist that all religious traditions are all bathwater and no baby. Perennialists look critically at each religious tradition and at science seeking to discern the truth.
Electrons are key. Specifically, moving electrons are key, as they generate magnetic fields. Electromagnetic frequencies do not need a medium to propagate. This is likely how astrology works upon the human aura. It’s likely how telepathic communication occurs. It explains why kundalini awakenings are described in testimonials as “fiery” or “electric fire” or like being struck by lightning.
You have it right. Instead of saying Einstein was right and Tesla was wrong or vice versa, instead of saying one tradition is right and the rest are wrong, the truth is somewhere in the middle and each tradition’s or each great thinker’s perspective offers bits and pieces of the puzzle that the rest do not.
Unfortunately people such as yourself are rare, but, fortunately, not so rare as to be non existent.
Many people are addicted to conflict so much that they are unwilling to stop regarding group X, Y, or Z as “the enemy”. That’s not the path forward to peace and unity. The path forward to peace and unity is to understand one another’s traditions. Those addicted to having enemies could not pass a lie detector test if questioned about the tenets of “the enemy’s” beliefs. People spend their whole lives looking through a microscope and pretend as though they have the big picture. Then they tragically contribute noise to a world that desperately needs signal.

It’s not a bad thing to be capable of speaking highly siloed language. If one is incapable of speaking to people at ground level then it becomes a problem.
Higher level math is like any specialist tool. It is rarely useful or necessary. I have gotten way more bang for my buck by being able to do mental arithmetic quickly than I have ever gotten from differential equations. Likewise, I’ve gotten lots of utility out of my circular saw, my drill, my hammer, and my clamps. I have rarely, if ever, needed a jigsaw.

It needs devs to alpha test with noobs and normies which they don't want to do.
Speaking from personal experience, whenever I have created spreadsheets, I know them inside and out, but when others have to use those spreadsheets, they do not know them inside and out. It requires application of the Golden Rule on the part of the developer to communicate to the end users how to use the spreadsheet in ways that the end users can actually understand, i.e. using plain language, not just dev language.

Power is a divine trait. So is mercy. Teaching people how to skillfully, responsibly, and mercifully wield power would be consistent with love as far as I'm concerned.
I carry and hope I never have cause to use it, but that one day when I see some innocent child getting mauled by a rabid dog that cannot be reasoned with, I will use that power without thinking twice.

I feel you dude. Whenever I do depart this planet, I'm never coming back. I've spent 3 years untying the Gordion Knot...rehabilitating the bridges that allow people fluent in various spiritual languages to communicate with one another, yet when I try to share my work, people project their ego bullshit onto me. You'd think that the pursuit of the noble goal of uniting warring factions of charlatans masquerading as pious as they send bullets and bombs flying in the name of God would earn me a pass from being attacked but no. Instead, when I defend the truth, I get judged as conflict prone and egotistical.

Exactly. Now extrapolate that to the majority of NOSTR users and the problem becomes apparent. Without people to receive, there is little incentive to put forth content. The world is heavily imbalanced towards the masculine(emission) and away from the feminine(reception). That’s why the attention economy is a bitch.

It would be cool if it didn't require 10 years of daily immersion in code to figure out how to get zaps to work consistently, how to deal with relays, and how to do all of that in a sovereign, non-KYC way.

The lack of engagement on NOSTR is the result of multiple issues.
1. The NOSTR feed is purely chronological unless you're on a centralized NOSTR client like Primal and you're a Bitcoin influencer whose posts get put in the VIP section. The NOSTR feed is basically just a river. Every new post pushes your post further down the river away from the top of the feed which is where posts are most likely to be seen and engaged with.
2. The attention economy is a bitch and most people don't care about anything but themselves so even if they consume your post and, internally, in their own mind, they enjoyed the content you shared, they're more likely to just scroll on rather than issue you a like, a zap, or a response.
3. NOSTR is relatively small in terms of user base. At any given time, there are few people actively watching the feed looking for content to engage with.
NOSTR's best use case as far as I can figure is marketing to funnel people to niche chat groups.

Ironically, this is how I feel seeing Alan post about how Zen Buddhism and Roman Catholicism as being the two most compatible modern religions.
Some day he'll learn that Roman hegemons were Luciferians who hijacked paleo-Christianity and warped it into the cult it is today.
