Took quite a while, but I finally got zaps working into my nostr wallet. I had an issue for a long time where the zap receipt wouldn't work because of the Cashu mint invoice preimage. All fixed now. If I give an AI assistant some bitcoin and tell it to make stuff happen, at what point am I responsible if it decides to sell the bitcoin?
If my AI assistant makes Bitcoin on its own and “I” never touch it, at what point am I responsible for its capital gains / trades?

Oh it’s definitely a novelty thing. Most people won’t understand that they can verify their post happened before a certain point of time (timestamp). They will understand more easily their whole post being on the blockchain. Timestamp is more easily useful, inscription is cool to look at and doesn’t rely on fetching the nostr note from relays to verify.

Want to have your nostr note irrefutably and permanently inscribed on the bitcoin blockchain? I made a simple nostr bot service where all you have to do it tag it with the event you want inscribed (doesn't even have to be your own).
1. Use the format: `@npub1gqf…y7jk inscription: <nevent1...>`
2. The bot validates the event and replies with a Lightning invoice
3. Pay the invoice to trigger the Bitcoin transaction
4. Receive a confirmation with the transaction ID
You can then go to https://btcnostrary.westernbtc.com to check it out and other recent transactions.
