Nice, enjoy! It is a very beautiful and down-to-Earth country. Siem Reap especially. Cambodia doesn't seem as "westernized" as some other places are, and that's a good thing. Children are still running around outside, playing real games, not chained inside and to their phones. That being said, there's a lot of darkness, violence and grief tied to that place as well. I didn't even have to visit the killing fields or S-21 to see, feel and experience that.
But yeah, I also renewed my visa from 1 to 2 months when I was there 😉 Kampot is a cool place as well if you want to visit some place smaller than the big cities!

Even though I have been thoroughly disillusioned by the Bitcoin community over the past few years (note to self: have no expectations), I’m still of the opinion that in a world of statists, satanists, conformists, liars, cowards, morons and scammers, the Bitcoin community has potentially the lowest percentage of the aforementioned types and probably the highest percentage of freedom-oriented, truth-seeking, optimistic innovators, artists and entrepreneurs.
As such, I will continue putting my proverbial eggs in that basket and continue searching for my tribe predominantly from within the ranks of bitcoiners.

Potentially. But probably also due to where I'm at in my own journey, and the necessity to carry on "fighting the good fight" and not let myself become victimized and resentful.
And even though I try not to make big plans as such, at least for the time being, I feel like there still needs to be an overarching "mode of being," which is constantly being reiterated and refined throughout my journals with entries like the ones in the original note.
You gotta aim at something. So why not aim at becoming a warrior sage, y'know?

You sure you don't want any of those? How I look at it is that we all have all traits, just that they're always somewhere on a scale of, let's say 0-100. And some of those traits are more prevalent in males, some in females - hence the masculine/feminine dichotomy. An average woman might have a trait of "nurturing" at 80. For an average man that may be like 20. But even though that is a feminine trait, a man should also be able to embody it to a degree whenever necessary or apt.
How this dichotomy even arose in the first place comes down to biological differences between men and women.
You're spot on with "it seems that the same women who complain about supposed “male dominance” are the ones willingly and eagerly adopting masculine energy and masculine traits" - why that exactly is, is anyone's guess, but mine would be: 1) the men in those women's lives have been either too weak, too feminine or too rigidly masculine and they subconsciously compensate for it 2) they have underdeveloped their own femininity and started to overdevelop masculine traits to compensate 3) they have bought into the idea that the patriarchy is responsible for all (or most of) the evils in the world
I would also recommend looking into the idea of anima and animus by Carl Jung. The anima is the unconscious feminine side of a man, while the animus is the unconscious masculine side of a woman.

Plans - I've quit making them for the time being and am learning to trust the plan of the Divine. We, in our limited scope, cannot grasp the full scope, even less all the twists and turns and lessons hidden along the Way. Our headlights only light the area in front of us and we have to trust that it does not lead us towards a cliff.
Vision - I don't really assign timescales to that either, but I do envision a future filled with abundant energy & resources, healthy lifestyles, an amount of freedom we've possibly never encountered before, a feeling of unity never seen before (which does not stem from nation states or groupthink or religious dogma) and, as I put in one of the most comprehensive and perhaps outrageous pieces I've written thus far: "a world where men like Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Tesla, are not only commonplace, but average."
That is the mission, to help bring this world into being.
The piece of writing I'm referring to is my Theory of Everything - Unified Creation Energy Theory (still very much a WIP since 2023 but I've made a pledge to myself to update and add some additional stuff I've come across in there (maybe I've shared this with you before, I'm not sure):

Do I feel called? Or was that decision spurred by a survival need?
Kind of both, I guess. That idea came to me at a time where I had recently admitted to myself that I'm a long way from making a living as a musician or a writer and running low on finances... But I did know I wanted to work either in Bitcoin or something creative. And I also knew I didn't have the resume or the technical skills to get a job within the Bitcoin industry.
So, when the gift card idea occurred to me, I dismissed it at first. It seemed boring, banal, simplistic. But it lingered on in my head, and I started putting threads together from different experiences and interests to create something unique. I got the idea for selling the discount codes - Reverse Affiliate Marketing - affiliate marketing where I don't claim commissions, but charge the end user for the opportunity to get better prices. The insight I mentioned earlier about buying gift cards for fiat in Australia to save money on groceries. Membership and loyalty system where members can refer new members by gifting them gift cards, buy or earn membership levels for life, and earn a share in the (future) profits of the company (I was also considering trying to get financing via crowdfunding, but opted for that road instead - although I haven't really pushed or explained this idea in public too much). Integration of my passion for copyright-free works via the @nprofile…jsp2 initiative and section (and creating a synergy between a for-profit company and a not-for-profit arm of it, which would then in turn act as a promotional avenue).
And I thought this was the "low hanging fruit" in the Bitcoin space. Which has not proven to be true, of course, haha. But it's an interesting experience and experiment, and if necessary I can keep the overheads so low that I can continue it even if it doesn't generate any profits for years and I just pay the monthly bills from doing some fiat job. Also, being a Bitcoin company, I feel that there are (and will be) many avenues to evolve into or pivot into. If there's anything this experience has taught me, it's that we are so early 🚀

The social media aspect kind of instills the mindset that quantity is important. It is, but more specifically, it's the consistency that's important. Not consistency in posting/publishing/selling every single thing you come up with, but consistency in creating them.

Yeah the HODL mindset can really be a trap for sure. It keeps you in a view of BTC as investment, not as a revolution in money.
Haven't thought about bill payments, but I think gift cards, different types of credits, SIM top-ups, that's kind of what's first on my mind. And to have a global reach, a lot of current offers a la on Bitrefill or Fold or whatever are super US-centric.

Hey, I'm happy to hear these ideas got your thoughts flowing :)
1. By using Bitcoin as a payments method, we can save 1-3% in card processing fees (+ no chargeback/fraud risk). At first I also had fiat payments available on @npub1p6y…wx3t, so the discount percentages were lower, but paying with Bitcoin had an extra 2% discount. However, it turned out most bigger fiat processors don't accept being used on a gift card resale site and as I was starting with the Bitcoin niche anyway, I figured it's best to start with Bitcoin only and higher discount straight away (also easier for customer to understand the value proposition).
2. The idea is for this business to concentrate purchasing power (when buying the gift cards in bulk up front - however, as there's been no investor interest and minimal traction, I presume I will mostly have to go by consignment deals or just be a middleman between a gift card network and end client - which will probably result in lower discount rates for both my company and the end user). However, the second point still remains in a roundabout way - if the company is profitable and stores its profits in Bitcoin, which will in time gain purchasing value, then we will by default be ahead of companies operating on a full fiat standard, which means we can lower margins, which means better prices for the end user. So I mentioned how I was able to get gift cards for one of the big grocery stores in Australia... with fiat payments it was already at a 4% discount. Now what if we can add another 2% discount just by bypassing the fiat payment processors? It's not much, percentage wise, but it adds up, and from customer's point of view it's an additional 50% of savings just by using Bitcoin instead of the banks. I think that would catch some attention from the pre-coiner crowd. Or even bigger savings if you can use such services while travelling, so you can also bypass any FX fees or ATM withdrawal fees (I was in Cambodia when that whole idea started to formulate in my head and so sick of paying like $5 USD to the banks any time I wanted to withdraw cash).
The 3D-4D thought process you described is cool, and yes, it aligns with how I see it and am trying to manifest it :)
The noise/information problem is also very real, and obviously I haven't really solved it yet. Getting my ideas and work "out there" was one of the main reasons I started using social media in 2022, and so far the progress has been slow and I can't say that I really have a proper "audience" yet. And I'm quite averse to social media in general, so I also refuse to try to fit in any boxes or to make my message somehow more palatable to normies, or to try and game the algorithms or anything. But hey, I have faith, and I know for a fact that there are more than a few people out there who have gotten something out of my work or who enjoy reading or getting into conversations about these topics (such as yourself) and that's a big win already compared to just thinking and mulling over this stuff in isolation :)

Well, if people need the products or services they will be willing to pay for them, the goal of @nprofile…cduj is to offer ways to save money on these products, and to use Bitcoin as a medium of exchange. My initial idea was also to potentially help make the site an orange-pilling effort in the sense that I think we can offer better deals on all sorts of products when using Bitcoin as both a store of value and as a medium of exchange. Of course, for now I've focused on the Bitcoin niche, but I hope to expand the scope of the site in the future so that pre-coiners can also see and experience an increased efficiency in commerce.

I guess they are more of an expression of art and beliefs. I mean, there is definitely a practical value to the merch, the calendar, the gift cards & discounts as well, but value is subjective in any case. And you're right in terms that most people don't seem to value those offerings highly enough to part ways with the amounts of sats I'm asking for them.
I have been quite open & vocal about nostr and Bitcoin among my friends, and have at least sparked some curiosity in some, but orange and/or purple pilling ain't an easy job either. My current route is trying to expose the interconnectedness of different aspects of life (I can write about yoga, spirituality, psychology and philosophy and tie Bitcoin into it; or about free speech and censorship resistance and V4V and tie nostr into it).
Oh yeah, value first for sure. Most of my artistic stuff (music, writing, photos) are published under Creative Commons licenses. I figure if people get value from it, or it helps them create value, it will come back around in one way or the other...

I really like the idea of zapvertising and have experimented with different types of it a fair bit, but I'll have to be honest and say that actual sales are still hard to come by. Are my products/services not offering enough value or people just don't want to spend BTC? IDK.

It had its teething problems, but so far, LN seems to offer a great tradeoff between scaling/speed and security. It is layered money like @nprofile…zx9t said and LN fulfills the electronic cash part very well.

Yeah I'm not 100% up to date with the latest episodes as I haven't found them as funny as they used to be, but the 2021 "Post COVID" episode, while poking fun at the extended lockdowns, also portrayed getting the shot as the "sensible" thing to do.
Re/ climate they used to call out Al Gore and him warning about the "ManBearPig" as an allegory for the climate hysteria, but they flipped on this around 2018 when they called ManBearPig, and thus the climate psyop, real.
