We got Openclaw bot moved into the PC
A WSL Ubuntu install with Ollama and Openclaw. It’s got some local models installed and bench tested today.
I don’t think I could have done this without Claude help but It’s using local resources now instead burning tokens.

It’s a gaming PC it runs a node , mines, entertainment and music for the studio etc.
There isn’t anything essential or particularly serious to get into. I do use it daily but the important stuff is on a MacBook and backed up on an external SSD

My main problems were coming from the name change. I had to kill the previous version and relaunch with Openclaw
Form there I was able to sort out telegram and get things moving
The bot is up and running, getting settled in now.

I don't often make small paintings, but these are examples of 12"x12" works I made for a 'Square Foot' show a couple of years ago.
It's hard to get your pay out of small ticket paintings - that doesn't mean it isnt fun or worth doing.

Made some speaker stands with some black pipe n fittings.
These are holding up some inexpensive Edifier MR3s that sound surprisingly good. 😌
Nice to get ‘em up to ear height and off the desktop.
Think I’ll make a shelf for my PC next because I kinda like the industrial look.

Don’t Sell
Sell or use as money in limited amounts
Sell or leverage in other jurisdictions.

There are specific groups of people I interact with that are not interested in Nostr yet
When I’m in each various platform I’m more and more aware of how crazy, needy, attention seeking they are. The bias, the algo, the screeching.

Yeh I did ok with Kaspa.
One of the odd issues was that Canadians were excluded from many international exchanges after the govt seized a bunch of assets without a court order.
It made getting paid out from many exchanges difficult.
Fortunately some swapping was still possible for me - it was expensive but i was able to convert most of my crypto to BTC

The nano3 an nano3S definitely make more noticeable fan noise than the Avalon Q s
They really have done an amazing job.
Red Panda Mining did reviews - I think he did a decibel readings if I remember correctly.
I was considering the Fluminer when it was announced.. efficiency specs looks good
We’re very pleased with the progress in our mine4heat system.
At 0C outside our 3900 sqft home is maintaining 20C inside

It is typically very quiet
The fans auto tune for lower power consumption
The 8” inline fan I’m using to push the heat into the hvac is louder - but when set the 3 or 4 is less noticeable I’ve used a moving blanket to dampen the sound (was getting picked up in my wife’s zoom call. )
The miners by themselves are easily tolerable in the same room with people.
Manual fan control in the miner is possible via API and 3rd party apps
