Have you evaluated Reticulum?🤔
Although I am still very novice in my understanding, it appears to me that Reticulum is the internet we've always wanted. The one, the internet should have been, if I understand it correctly, it will ultimately replace ALL of the software of the internet, including IP, and it will eliminate every centralizing, controlling, entity; for example, ICANN.
Like nostr, user identities will be cryptographically secured by asymmetric encryption. Any and all available transport mechanisms will be used, meshing the networks in every locale.
Routing will be fully automated, initial contact may be slow, but once nodes are in communication, the shortest path will be determined and future contacts will be very rapid.

By "leave behind" I mean an EXODUS, a cessation of belief in and reverence for statism, and the adoption instead of an entirely alternate allegiance to a radically different way of life.

Digging a little deeper, I believe you may also be unintentionally misleading by mischaracterizing what actually happened...
I found a legal report commenting in greater detail on the events:

However, there is an identity group which I believe to be vastly larger than either political (upper-case "L") or generic (lower-case "l") libertarians, and which suffers from similarly self-limiting choices. I'm referring to those who self-identify as "Christians," very typically part of local, regional, and national membership organizations known as "churches" or "denominations."
Like the Libertarians, these church-goers desperately need awakening to the Third Option @nprofile…euej has so cogently described... absolutely beginning, as he has said, ***"with clear-eyed recognition of what the state actually is."*** Cast into Biblical terms more familiar to "Christians," the state is metaphorically Egypt and Babylon, an oppressor falsely claiming the place of God Almighty by violently asserting control over every living soul in its assumed territorial jurisdiction.
The prevailing world-view among "Christians" has for a long time been that the "Two Realms" @nprofile…n5af speaks of are equally valid, and I believe this has resulted in what we observe as two major factions in Christendom; "Christian Nationalists" and the rest of the church.
My counter-diagnosis is that the Two Realms he speaks of are—from a more accurate Biblical perspective—identifiable as The Kingdom of God vs The Fiefdoms of Satan... aka, all human state organizations speciously claiming a monopoly on violence.

At the same time, I'm having intractable problems with Amethyst, and I'm ready to find an alternative client to run on my Graphene Android OS phone.😜

I can't scroll to find any but the most recent replies, images are fuzzy forEVer, I can't save pictures without repeated taps, things I'm looking at disappear without warning, forGET about SEARCHING for anything, half of my feed says "Event not found," I try to scroll through history I've seen before, and hit hard walls, my phone burns my hand... I could go on!😳
Amethyst and nostr have been my daily driver for years now, but I'm getting beyond frustrated now because it feels like it's all turning to 💩...

Is there any hope of widespread standard adoption for how clients parse and display basic markup languages like Markdown and HTML?🤔
Is there a subset of either or both of these languages (or any OTHER language) that will display reliably across the vast majority of clients?
Can you recommend a particular client editor for long form articles that you are pleased with? That works well for you?🤔
