I’m with @npub1gdu…6nak : Stablecoins don’t significantly contribute to net new demand for US treasuries, such that is strengthens the dollar and its reserve status - rather, stablecoins are more bullish for Bitcoin than the dollar.

Cycle theory might be dead because the bear market was preemptively priced in (shoutout to Vijay Boyapati), i.e. heavy selling around the calendar time of a top, plus into a coincidentally psychological level (100k). Not the worst thing in the world, could mean that the starting price of the next bull is higher relative to previous ones. But ultimately, it all comes down to when the people will stop being retarded, which isn’t looking great.

I’ve never heard him talk about how much luck and randomness there is in life. I doubt it’s what he believes, but the way he talks now, it sounds like he believes that everything that happens to you is 100% within your control. That’s why I used Gaza as an example. What did a child do in Gaza to deserve this? Are they really 100% in control of their situation?

If two people know the private key, then one person using the private keys prevents the other from using it. So the ownership isn’t the key, but the ability to use the key to move the coin.

Non-rivalrous goods can’t be owned. Bitcoin is rivalrous, which means it can be owned. (Possible logic error there.) In fact, it HAS to be owned by someone because it is rivalrous. (Although maybe you could have rivalrous goods that are not currently owned by anybody, like say asteroids, stars, etc?) Rivalry is inherent and independent from any legal, or whatever you want to call it, system.
It’s true that information can’t be owned, with the singular exception of Bitcoin because it is rivalrous and the only form of information where the map is also the territory.
