We can't really know in modern times what capitalism would look like. As long as the central banks exist all incentives are flipped, creative destruction is negated through lobbies and cheap interest rates. Minimizing the quality of the population.
I would imagine without the previous 100 years of central banking the attention grabbing noise would not be so prevalent. It's kind of an easy consumable media, for a stressed population.

That's not true leverage is how you control your risk. Governments loved to push the anti leverage narrative so they can protect us from ourselves but effectively if the exchange is not allowed to offer leverage we are forced to expose a higher percentage of value to counterparty risk in order to control your risk percentage.

There isn't any reduction in the price data that can give more edge. Those indicators are just getting in the way. All we have is the price even volume is fake. Naked chart plus five to seven years learning how to read in context. Even then as long as your position size correctly the coin flip is profitable.

Leverage allows you to keep a minimum amount of counterparty risk exposure to the exchange.
Typically long term on bitcoin funding rates pay the shorts i've seen strategies that take advantage of this.
Also there's no such thing as too much leverage* there's only math and what you're willing to risk per trade plus counterparty risk. What risk percentage do you use fixed or maybe some modified kelly?

Leverage is for position sizing in order to control risk percentage and that you're not fully exposed to counterparty risk on the exchange.
When the state protects us by regulating how much leverage we can use, for your safety, it actually forcibly exposes us too much more risk.
