You might want to keep some smaller UTXO's as well.
Wen Bitcoin hits $1M a coin and you want to send somebody $100 worth of BTC, you don't really want that coming from a $1M UTXO.
That's like walking into a shop and paying for a pack of gum with a $10,000 bill 😂
