No, he's right that the problem is unequal access to basic resources due to the financialization and tokenization of all assets, driven by the upper class' thirst for high returns on investments. Their friends in government printed money and gave it to them to gamble with, and they needed more and more money to gamble with, and they needed bigger and bigger bailouts when they lost their gambles and...
They privatized all gains and socialized all losses.
The social welfare state growing larger is a reaction to that, which is meant to placate the working class that the rich are bleeding dry, so that they don't eat the rich. The workers have not profited by the productivity gains in their own labor. They have _only_ been robbed blind in broad daylight by people who smile at them and have photo opportinities of themselves taken at McDonald's or the local pub. See, we are just like you!
No, they are not. They are nothing at all like me and I am tired of them pissing on me and telling me that it's raining.
But now the access is so grossly unequal and the social welfare state is crumbling so badly, that it's time to just claw back the stolen wealth they've been raking in.
Will that solve the problem? No. Only a return to hard money and refocusing on local community can solve the problem.

The person trying to get a human on the line isn't the actual customer, the company stakeholders (the government, universities, shareholders, media, etc.) are, and they were told the helpline would be AI and that it would be better and would raise customer satisfaction and productivity. So the companies try to nudge the customers toward the AI.

Who will hire them? Everything is being done by the machines, the companies can't fire the machines, and there's no hungry market to sell the machines into because everyone has machines.
That is the difference between humans and machines: *You can't fire machines, only sell them.* They are mechanical slaves. You own the machines, so you are stuck with them (and their costs, which are high and never-ending), unless you can find a buyer, or you go bankrupt and write them off. That is why mechanisation and automation are a one-way street, for any company. It works or you are gone.

The unemployed workers are probably the biggest potential AI customer base, as they're going to demand subsidised AI for their entertainment. You have to keep them entertained, or they might riot.
They can spend all day watching AI customized porn and movies, shopping on AI directed websites, having food delivered by AI robots, talking to their AI friends, playing AI-powered video games, building custom AI software only they will ever use, observing the antics of their little AI housepets and helpers, etc.
The government will need to print a lot of money. Nobody will ever do any work, ever again. 😂

What I am doing more and more of is Nostr-without-websockets. Sometimes without relays. Like, just signing stuff and then saving it to .jsonl or sending it as an e-mail attachment.
Or polling. Sign and publish something and it's just sort of floating out there, and there are polling stations that go catch it up in nets.
I'm removing a lot of the immediacy.
And then, on the other hand, using relays as a between-place to integrate data from multiple users, really rapidly, before pulling it down into some other medium. Relays as a sort of waiting room or prep table.
So, I think we're thinking more and more about using relays as a piece of network architecture. Just leaving anything social out of that workflow.

I only use clients like that, focused on our subset of relays, but I also pull the user's relay lists. If they just don't have lists, then it only uses the preset relays.
We have a new project for something org/corp-friendly, taking the kind 11 stuff to the next level, to finally get our own team off Slack, but I won't be discussing it until we finish the pilot.

If you have a bot that you think is useful, remember to add a "bot" tag to its profile. This adds transparency and I'll be exposing that tag in the userbadge with a 🤖 emoji.
People are afraid to do this, but it actually increases acceptance if this is made proactively clear. I have bots with bot-tags and expensive NIP-05s and they just do their job and leave users undisturbed, and nobody complains and the relays whitelist them.

Basically, the bots have turned humans into bot spam. Even I am being turned into bot spam because I am reduced to talking about the humans I see talking about the bot spam.
*Just use better relays*, already. Why is this such an intractible issue? What are you doing? Why are you doing that? Why are you not doing something better?

It doesn't translate, tho. It just reads with that accent.
But it makes sense to use the Spanish voice to read Spanish, as that sounds closer to a native speaker reading it. Or just use the French voice for English and giggle.
We'll eventually have translations, too, of course. Then you can have everything rewritten in your native tongue and read aloud with your native accent.
