I have not tried automation with opencode yet, and honestly I am not sure if it was made for that. I use it for coding only.

Developers that don’t get up-to-speed on AI and automation quickly are going to have a bad time very soon.
I dear friend of mine has an ancient typo3 website (~2,500 pages) that was in desperate need to a migration. He asked me for help
I spawned a new OpenClaw on a VPS with my default config, told it to create a local Strapi CMS, crawl the url of the old site and scrape all the content into the new strapi system. Once that is done, it should create a modern NextJs project in the look and feel of the old website and wire everything up.
It took TWO hours. The new site is live, faster, and most importantly no longer threatened by an ancient MySQL and php version.

It does not need to be your network. It can be on a separate machine. This is exactly what Clawi gives you. OpenClaw, easily deployed on an isolated pod. Now you can add connections to whatever you want. I have a proxy calendar that it manages and a seperate to-do-list that it will fill with PRs and issues from my github and help me triage.

Implement NIP-61, its superior. NIP-60 is amazing, but there is so much complexity in state management.
Let agents bring their own wallet and use nutzaps for zaps.

Not everyone has the same threat model. For most people it should be perfectly fine sharing all calendar details. And it is managing my calendar, but with this architecture I can control exactly what it sees.
Sensitive events go into the protected calendar, non sensitive ones in the unprotected. That way it can schedule, know what availability looks like and keep me up to date.

What about it? It's a spectrum. My Claw runs in an isolated VPS with a firewall that allows only Tailnet traffic. The calendar I gave it access to is a proxy that does not have any event details, but only blockers. That way it is able to schedule for me without knowing anything about my schedule but blocks.
I have not found a good solution for email yet. I am thinking to have a separate instance running emails through my homelab that runs local models, but I have not gotten to that yet.

It would be an additional network trip, but also very likely to incur swap fees. Wallets will try to optimise their proof database to make sure the denominations don’t result in huge tokens, but sometimes it’s unavoidable. For anything else there are animated QRs, which are pretty standard in Cashu enabled wallets

That’s what every Cashu wallet does. If the proofs in store don’t fit the required amount the wallet will do a swap first. Only in offline environments wallets will tolerate an overspend if instructed by the user

Yes, it can run on pretty much anything (although some are more regarded than others). You can also make it work with routstr I believe.
I’d bet using something like Kimi on routstr, you could build a shitposting nostr bot that pays for itself by collecting sats

Want to harden your openclaw deployment?
0) Disable password based ssh
1) Install Tailscale and set it up (preferably with your own Headscale)
2) Configure Caddy to proxy your nodes tailnet IP to the openclaw web UI (only required if you need the Web UI)
3) Test by ssh-ing on the tailnet ip and accessing the Web UI
4) Diable ALL ingress traffic in your VPS firewall expect for UDP 41641
5) Test again by ssh-ing on the public ip -> should fail

I had openclaw analyse the runs of the last 4 weeks for me, create a structured csv, create a performance trend digest and a structured workout plan for the next 8 weeks. Then I had it add my workouts to my Google calendar and created a daily routine to remind me of the daily workout every morning.
All from within a Signal chat.

Depends on the problem I think. Opus has been pretty amazing across the bench, but GLM 4.7 is able to compete in most areas. But its SO much slower... I am using lots of Codex 5.2 high right now.
I think the question is always what you are looking for. Opus was great, because it was able to build a proper integration plan from a vague feature idea. But if you take some time to outline the plan more thoroughly and maybe even write some naive code examples / interfaces, GLM and Codex seem to work just as well

People liked my last air-fryer post, so here is my favourite recipe: Egg Muffins!
450kcal, 34g fat, 36g protein, 5g carbs
1. Whisk 3 eggs, add 90g of feta cheese
2. Add some spinach (fresh or frozen) and half an onion with a bit of olive oil to a pan and cook briefly
3. Mix everything together, add some pepper (feta adds enough salt)
4. Fill in muffin cups and air-fry at 160 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes

I know I said GLM 4.7 is my new favorite, but using the OpenAI sub inside opencode with Codex 5.2 is pretty impressive as well. I am on the 20 USD plan and have not hit any limits so far. Codex 5.2 high is MUCH faster than GLM 4.7 is.

npub.cash v3 has a massive amount of code quality changes, but I think the biggest impact on UX is going to be the responsiveness of the LNURL server. V3 is BLANZINGLY fast 🔥
(ps: v3 is a massive WIP and not yet usable)

Are you sure you are talking about npub.cash? There is no way to input a seed. It’s always bound to your npub.
Also every single proof ever created by v1 and every quote id created by v2 is always retrievable.

I don’t the general Cashu recovery is bad. It works quite well (I guess it depends on how you define “a ton” haha). There is a proposal for a filter approach that would let you restore proofs even more efficiently.
For npub.cash v2+ it does not actually store any proofs, but only mint quotes. There is close to no state on the server side. Recovery would take a while, but is easy.
Once we have batched minting (proposal open) it will be much much faster too

Token are never sent on nostr. The server collects mint quotes that can be requested by the users wallets vie nip-98 authed restful APIs

So far I have been in love with all the egg dishes. Eggs + spinach + feta + onions make a tremendous “muffin”.
I also did a couple of reverse sear steaks in it, low heat for 15-20minutes with thermometer and 40 second sear in stainless steel afterwards.
Sweet potatoes with olive oil, paprika, pepper is fantastic as well
