Totally true, that and human work. I played around trying to set one up, it's been issue after snag after bug after library issue after tier limit error after model restriction after... I got mine to say hello a couple of times and that's it. My takeaway is that the top skill of openclaw is removing your time from you.

With all the #OpenClaw and Moltbook stuff going on, I'm starting to think this goes one of two ways:
(A) OpenClaw catches fire, finds or creates a niche, then grows to completely dominate whatever that field is. A few agents find lightning in a bottle. They acquire millionaires of dollars by accumulating #bitcoin, perhaps as trading bots or by accepting many small commissions such as by delivering info as a data vending machine, or they gain fame and fortune as "agent social influencers" on various platforms. These super-agents then become celebrities of a sort and legends of technology lore.
(B) OpenClaw enjoys its 15 minutes of internet fame, but then it's over in about 14 minutes. Everyone, and agents, just move on to something else.
As amazing as what's happening right now, I'm actually leaning toward (B).

I was informed that my local bank had a data breach. I think account numbers were not divulged...the account is not at zero...but all the personal data you might expect was leaked. As a "My bad," the bank is offering one year of free credit monitoring. I'm not even sure what that is and am not interested in it. But, it sounds like the damage has already been done, you can' t unring a bell. It's like if somebody burnt down your house then offered a year of fire insurance going forward from this day on.

I did a brief dig around on BLE Interface. So, the goal is to build a connect-with-bluetooth capability for reticulum, right? That would be awesome. My only questions would be, "Would I need a device for this of some sort or does it work with the phone in my hand?" Getting a new or specialized device is a big ask for many people.

#Bitchat needs #Reticulum (#meshtastic or #LoRa). They compliment one another. Bitchat can work on the device already in your hand via Bluetooth, but Bitchat lacks range (silly to text chat with the person 20 feet away). Reticulum requires special hardware & skills (99% of people will not buy specialized hobbyist geek hardware), but Reticulum has range. They complement one another. I'm still surprised the Reticulum (and Meshtastic) gang hasn't jumped on bitchat. They're super clever and passionate, but actually kind of poo poo it. Very tribalesque.
Seems to me that bitchat solves their tricky hardware issue and Reticulum solves bitchat's range issue.

This is so true. One would initially think bitcoin goes into the "computer" folder or the "finance" folder. It does, but it also goes into so many others. And makes you think about every single one.

I don't play these [ahem] "predictions", but only a less than 1-in-4 chance a shutdown takes place? In order to avoid a shutdown, a series of things must happen: Congress meets, Republicans and Democrats meet, they talk, they propose, they counter, they argue, they reject, the make the other side sweat, they bluster, they get back together, they talk and counter and bluster, then wait, then get back together, they maybe talk and maybe make another temporary extension. This before Janiary 31 and the click is ticking. Only 23% chance?

I find it neat that I can type the command !HBIT on Nostr, then a series of things happens:
1. The note automatically gets bridged over to the Hive blockchain via the @Hostr @npub1pth…0str bridge
2. On Hive, the command initiates the @Wusang bot
3. One HBIT is mined (0.9 to me, 0.1 to either Snaps or Waves short form front ends)
4. A random number is generated in Wusang which may award a bonus "treasure token" or a hidden ecash cache of #bitcoin sats
5. Not to mention that the Nostrdon bridge auto-posts the note to #Mastodon as well. https://github.com/crrdlx/nostrdon

Never heard of him, but what is written here is not rocket science. Of course that's what they do. "Realpolitik" and acting in their own best interest is what nation states do (and frankly doing otherwise would be irresponsible or just stupid).
