The reasoning is pretty far reaching as I am observing this space since basically beginning.
Monero community feels like Bitcoin in its early stages. It reached #4 spot in CMC in 2017 and has been correctly identified as a danger for the state.
So years of price suppression followed, while community expanded to a degree that it dominate all markets where it gets listed. DNM, line merchants,... With cash rendered obsolete it will be its digital successor with high likelihood.
Then came delistings. Liquidity drained, bit also fractional reserves limited. Ever since Monero is regaining market share, painting a beautiful picture with a 9 year triangle breaking to the upside.
BCH
Shunned for wanting to scale like Satoshi envisioned. Attacked from both sides Luke (ultra small blocker) and Craig (infinte blocker).
The mission of TradFi was to control Bitcoin, render it irrelevant and I'd say they came pretty far.
It costed them far less than $500 billion out of the $20,000 billion the fed printed out of thin air since BTC existence.
Now BCH has a legitimate claim to have defended the uncaptured Bitcoin, especially since Gavin refused to work with Epstein. Core arguments have been made in bad faith, code weaknesses introduced.
Tech advanced. Storage, bandwidth, latency, CPU. All in favour of much larger blocksizes while maintaing decentralisation.
Market is more or less stable in BTC terms, working on a trend reversal.
Knots people (just like bcashers) understanding that Core devs are not the neutral magic wizard devs, but in the pockets of agencies, while BCH community fought Core, BSV and ABC (all of them state linked operations).
Make of that what you want.
If you can afford to hold BTC that gets syntetical price manipulated by BlackRock, you might be able to afford 1% in BCH and 1% in XMR.

You can easily decimate the price by x10 if you are connected tk or own the 2 or 3 biggest CEX directly or indirectly. Then you close withdrawals and wait for more people to panic.

You take several factors into account including how the world will look like when we reach 30k.
It will not just confirm the break down of long term trend vs gold but also vs USD (which is a literal shitcoin).
Furthermore it means your nominal value will be down close to 2017 levels. While purchasing powered chrased x3.
Meanwhile paper BTC will change the dynamics for price discovery from hypes to slow and boring price stability with small up slope, meaning that 2030/32 is much closer than many perceive and markets will price that in, when considering insolvency risk.

The answer is one that might surprise you.
1. Assume your project is already compromised
2. Assume Intel agents are involved in the project
3. Encourage anonymous devs who have less attack surface IRL (we already assume some are compromised)
4. Only ever use decentralised, censorship resistant public channels for decision making (assuming there are hidden coalitions/communication)
5. Focus on one thing and make it the overarching goal
6. Hope that forces of liberation outweigh the forces of control by constantly contributing to more freedom through the development of the tech (which inevitably will raise its opponents)
7. Align incentives by paying out in the project currency
8. Make dev process and funding transparent and auditable
9. Encourage the community to use decentralised communication channels
10. Invite criticism /auditing and make utva cultural corner stone no one can question with good faith.
Monero community overall those pretty well, though I see some potential for improvement and reliance on devs (some public ally known) as well as centralised infrastructure, though it akready waned a little bit (reddit).

Ironically Monero historically was the most vulnerable coin in regards to fractional reserving it.
But as it is also a powerful MoE that is actually used in all markets it got delisted from almost all CEX and I sincerely hope that they will pull it from all remaining CEX. That will kill paperization.
But even with remaining CEX it can not be dumped below a certain threshold value because its usage dictates a price floor tied to the real economy which makes it ironically a good store of value despite not being able to perfectly audit it.

Yes they have bigger block sizes, though I'd argue that is not something that seems unhandable in 2026. At least it hasn't been exploited in the last 9 years.
Especially since bcash got rid of CSW/BSV and ABC, which cost them a lot of effort, community drama and investment confidence they seem to be on a much more stable and reasonable path. Even price wise vs BTC.

e/OS (we know its shit ftom a security petspective) does it on the OS level and there are apps like "TrackerControl" but they use the VPN slot which conflicts with other VPNs or Tor.

Bitcoiners realising that Blockstream has been an undercover operation actually funded by TradFi (Mastercard, AXA, Linkedin) that duped most in the community and even some close to the company.
As a Bitcoiner of 2010 I tell you that most of you lacked critical distance in order to properly: Do not trust. Verify!
