Pulled some 1 Troy oz silver rounds and silver eagles from the box to sell at about $120. Was going to buy some bitcoin for a rainy day with the metal money premium. Stopped by two gold/silver coin dealers in the middle of a Thurs, and all quiet, all locked up. Called two more and no answer, straight to machine or voicemail. What good is it. Can’t sell it. Can’t eat it. Can’t spend it. Time to make a little statue or something with it. Bitcoin is so much more liquid.

These types of classic units speak to me. I’m inclined to gut this, load it with my audio connections to my #Clawdbot / #Moltbot and wire up the buttons for specific model modes and voice engagements. Have a #RaspberryPi sitting unused. I collected these notes from some exploration earlier. Figured if you’re this far along you’ll enjoy this detail gathered from leading users focused on scale.
The focus here is on “Scaling Productivity With Agents”
If you’re trying to scale capability, forget about building a hyper-smart agent. That doesn’t scale. The architecture that scales keeps the workers dumb and the system smart.
Looking ahead, the winning teams won’t be the ones building elaborate agents for long drawn out execution. They’ll be the ones building ruthless orchestration in systems that can spawn, direct, and merge the outputs of hundreds (or thousands) of tightly-scoped agents autonomously executing. Think narrow tools, smart prompts, clean handoffs. Not one badass agent trying to save the day, but 100 decent ones getting shit done, fast.
Most teams will fail at this because coordination is hard. Compute is scaling faster than your engineering team. But orchestration? Orchestration is a design problem, not a compute problem.
You need tiers. You need external coordination. You need to build systems, not agents. The complexity belongs in the detailed and well structured system layer, not the agent brain. The agent should be stupid and disposable, like a script. The prompt is its operating manual. That’s it.
If you get this right, you get output that scales with input. Then add agents to get more done. Get it wrong, and you get a coordination collapse after spinning up multiple agents that fail under their own context weight.

This is the transition we’re living through right now. Multi-agent systems are about intelligence at leadership, and throughput at the dumber tier. The ones who figure that out will significantly outproduce the ones who don’t.

Indeed. I learned from reading that it was used to drink wine. Red I presume, which I think at the time was still cut 50/50 with water. My theory of the shape is that wine with more surface area would breathe more. So, tastier opened up to the air and drank flat. Would love to see a Greek use it though. No one pats themselves on the back for spending an hour watching mukbang videos, no one touts their screentime like they’re setting a high score, and no one feels proud that their hand instinctively starts groping for their phone whenever there’s a lull in conversation.
Finishing a great nonfiction book feels like heaving a barbell off your chest. Finishing a great novel feels like leaving an entire nation behind. There are no replacements for these feelings. Videos can titillate, podcasts can inform, but there’s only one way to get that feeling of your brain folds stretching and your soul expanding, and it is to drag your eyes across text.
That’s actually where I agree with the worrywarts of the written word: all serious intellectual work happens on the page, and we shouldn’t pretend otherwise. If you want to contribute to the world of ideas, if you want to entertain and manipulate complex thoughts, you have to read and write.
According to one theory, that’s why writing originated: to pin facts in place. At first, those facts were things like “Hirin owes Mushin four bushels of wheat,” but once you realize that knowledge can be hardened and preserved by encoding it in little squiggles, you unlock a whole new realm of logic and reasoning.
That’s why there’s no replacement for text, and there never will be. Thoughts that can survive being written into words are on average truer than thoughts that never leave the mind. You know how you can find a leak in a tire by squirting dish soap on it and then looking for where the bubbles form? Writing is like squirting dish soap on an idea: it makes the holes obvious.

That’s how mine goes too. She can escape a life threatening situation at will by pulling away if the leash is caught, and to put it on for a walk I hold it and she dives in snoot first. 🤣

My dog knows the leash is like a seat belt. There’s no emotional effect on her at all. Even less than this dog. Her release after I unclip her to get some crazy running done is a bit of verbal and a hand pat. She loves it.

Spent 20 years loving a simple cappuccino. Also spent the last 10 years slurping coffee from a Keurig when at home. No longer. Keurig broke. Espresso machine arrived today. First capp at home from a local roaster. Perfection.

Speaking specifically about the US landlord/investor portfolio equity migration, these are people with low time preference by default. They are not inclined to jump from one lifeboat to another until the other is proven and necessary, or the diversification is warranted; and even then it’s not a leap but a gradual calculated migration of equity. Many of these people won’t risk a migration at all, and will die first, leaving the portfolio to the children to rebalance. My perspective tells me that it takes five to ten years for the migration to really start, and I suspect it takes around 8 to 12 years for there to be a momentum that sizably impacts the real estate market, and 20 to 25 years for it to find a new equilibrium between the asset classes. There are markets that will get impacted more quickly than real estate. It’s just slower than we think.
But for US individuals as homeowners, if you want to buy for you to live in it, and you just can’t yet swing it, just stack sats, focus on earnings and spend way less than you earn while increasing earning and stacking sats. Patience and sats will cure a great deal with time.

My take is that Bitcoin could offer those not wanting to landlord a means of long term wealth preservation that allows them to get out of real estate altogether. The ones that want to be in that business will stay. But the premium on real estate could get tamped down considerably, offering better rates all around. Inflation isn’t going away, but the premium could lessen over coming decades. Pushing property to its functional value. Very slowly. Real estate moves very slowly.

And to understanding user behavior in the face of the centralized platform abuses of the power granted to them by our given attention. This reinforces my inclination to build Bridges and Migrations for users. Maybe use some early tactics of current giants to rescue your families.

As a person that experienced both as a child, your involvement and influence is more important than either curriculum, both of which oft miss the mark of true north. The peers they’re placed among are oft a mix of good and bad seeds, of a range equally broad. Your home as a cornerstone is the keel that quietly and below the surface offers corrective guidance. Know that either school can produce a great person with persistent anchorage at home. Controlling their social media and access to other inputs and engagements is even more critical than school choice.
