"Broken Money" is showing me that humans extended one another credit way back in the day, which is OK. It's just reached a level of complexity that has gotten us all upside-down. That's on my list to figure out and the authenticity / credibility hit there makes my heart hurt. Proof of work! At the end of each episode, we offer our guests their choice of $50 worth of Bitcoin or $50 in USD. So far, 180 have taken the Bitcoin and only nine have taken the cash. And maybe half of these were precoiners who became Bitcoiners the moment they chose the sats.
I'm almost wondering whether we should find a way to make it a tougher choice for our guests, like offering $50 in cash or $25 in Bitcoin. Or something else?
Do you think we should make it a tougher choice? Because we're dunking on the dollar. How could we make it tougher to really test a precoiner's conviction after chatting about sats with us?

#40 Anna Beavon usually sends out sats in batches every other Friday or so. We could do live pay-outs for transparency so long as the player shares their address with us right then and there and then we have the sats in our hot wallet instead of our cold one and then show the sats leaving our Aqua wallet and the player shows the sats coming into their wallet (at least in an unconfirmed way). Might slow down the game show to do that instead of bring on the next player. But we are built like Bitcoin so I'd also be glad to show you on the Blockchain where these transactions are

I am currently wondering what it's going to look like for me to consolidate my weekly transactions into storage that's even colder than what it is now, so ... 🥶🥶 not sure, maybe a little worried about that, but I'm not worried about leaving my sats on an exchange and I value that more highly.
