I spend a lot of time reading on quantum from sources like TheQuantumInsider.com and the one takeaway I continued to have is everything has been theoretical or projected/estimated based off a miniscule runtime.
Until some of these companies can even work on simple quantum problems, we're still hanging out in "lab theory" as opposed to to "real-world application" of the technology. Google Willow, Quantinuum, IonQ Tempo, IBM Nighthawk... all of them are still just largely promises.
The last thing I saw on Nighthawk, for example, was they were on track for a 2029 milestone they set for fault-tolerance. It's coming but I've yet to see anything that says it is anywhere near being close.

If there is one thing that irks the hell out of me from "Bitcoiners" is the whole wishing for lower prices so they can accumulate more. That is peak TradFi behavior and cope from those that didn't take the last decade plus to build a position.
Bitcoin cannot advance its mission pussyfooting around at lower prices. It needs to be much higher to be able to actually be seen/used an inflation hedge, used by countries to settle trade, etc. I'm not here to fuck about in the existing system especially when history shows all these LARPers don't buy at lower prices, either.

Among top level AI outfits, specialization has been the common thing pointed to. Like if a business-centric AI agent needed access to something outside of its expertise, behind a paywall, etc... it would query and pay whatever it interfaced with.
I believe I also heard the Google AI head talk on a podcast about resource scaling. So you hit your compute ceiling. An agent could call out to a GPU marketplace seeking to subcontract out said job, pay for it, then get the work product back.
At the micro/individual level, look at Claude/Molt. As individuals setup agents to carry out tasks, they'll eventually arm them with funding to pay as necessary.

I believe the reason it is happening more dramatically this cycle is because Bitcoin hasn't lived up to what it was sold as for many of the folks that joined during the endless money printing COVID era or after.
They were told it was digital gold, a hedge against monetary debasement, etc. and none of that has held up in their eyes. So they're feeling like they were sold a bunk bill of goods.
Most also don't realize there is a narrative lag there -- or some simply do not believe. It doesn't hedge against month-to-month shenanigans but rather long term, big picture shit like loss of settlement trust (see stress in trying to sell gold/silver right now), balance-sheet stress, or monetary resets and those haven't arrived.
If you are still trying to orange pill (I've quit) you need to be very tight and precise with your messaging. Saying shit like the above or "Bitcoin fixes this" all the time has done more harm than good.

Just talked to the last two people I got into Bitcoin. Both sold off this week. Both got in around 100-110k. One was in for $10k and one for $25k.
I know Bitcoiners are excited about "buying opportunity" but I've got to feel the last year has done irreparable damage to retail. I doubt either of those guys come back to spot if they ever do. I tried to explain they needed to give it at least a couple years but it fell upon deaf ears.

For a season that was meant to install Ben Johnson's philosophy and culture, the Bears punched above their weight all season long despite endless injuries and being outmatched talent wise.
Now the real work begins. The GM has to retool the defense on the fly and now take another hard look at the offensive line with the Trapillo injury. Very few people come back from the injury he has. You essentially have a couple years left on Caleb's rookie deal and that is the typical window before you're forced to pay your QB 25-33% of the cap.

I was watching clips from a pod that Richard Rawlings was on the other day and the guy he was speaking with said dealerships are the actual customers for manufacturers and that kinda blew my mind. He also mentioned that manufacturers are purposefully under producing to push prices up.

Had this discussion with folks at our local Meetup the last couple weeks so posing it here for thoughts and opinions, especially after how Saylor reacted to @nprofile…7u6y on WBD.
While I know ATM issuance on common technically shouldn't create much downward pressure, the addition of the third clause several months back as well as the creation of $STRC and the other preferreds, why would anyone choose the common?
For those not hip, Clause 3 states Strategy will dilute "when otherwise deemed advantageous to the company." That literally can be anytime it moves even in the slightest.
Back to the STRx complex, why would you hold the common when those exist to boot? About the only way I see it making sense is if it gets inclusion and put into indices but even then, does anyone think Saylor won't pull it right back down to buy more BTC?

Yep, exactly what I said. My "this is absolutely false" response was to you stating machines are no good. Everything in the gym has a time, place, and purpose for use.
I've trained with guys that make both of us look like peons (such as Jay Cutler, John Meadows, etc.) and by and large they used machines much more in their programming.
IMO after lifting for 35+ years, I only use free weights for a few compounds like squats or a complex joint like shoulders. Anything outside of that, I'll use the best machine available to me as to be able to isolate the muscle I'm working. At the end of the day, resistance plus stimulus times intensity wins out regardless of the tool of choice.

Stabilizer muscles get used with machines just not as rigorously compared to using free weights. If you're using a machine, anything involved in the anatomy trail of said muscle gets recruited, just at a varying degree.

This is my last week on a 10 week KLOW peptide protocol. This is the first stack that I feel like has not been beneficial in the slightest. Do not feel like I got any skin/hair benefits and because the BP/TB piece is dosed down versus the Wolverine stack by itself, feel like that hasn't done squat.
About 3 weeks ago I had "tennis elbow" rear its ugly head and previously BP/TB makes short work of it. Once this week is finished, will be taking a week to flush and then back to dedicated Wolverine to hopefully make light work of this elbow pain.

Yeah, between the awful UX and no longer getting sats for listening, I have pretty much stopped using it and went back to alternative platforms.
So many times the app just wouldn't play or I'd get a black screen that I could never get out of -- it would even reopen to it after closing the app. I used to recommend it all the time and wouldn't even think about doing so these days.

Listened to the Bitcoin Today twatter space with Keonne Rodriguez on the Samourai Wallet case today. For me, everything boils down to the fact that the SDNY ignored FinCEN's ruling that Samourai was not a money transmitter.
The fact that it did not end there tells me this was just more Biden-era lawfare against the Bitcoin slash crypto slash digital asset industry. You can tuck this in right next to the Operation Chokepoints, the assassination of Silicon Valley Bank, and the other egregious actions the Government has levied against the industry.
The facts never mattered here. In any of these things. This is abhorrent abuse of the justice (sic) system against our citizens. Especially when you realize that violators in the tradfi realm get menial fines and a slap on the wrist.

I've been curious as to what happens to Bitcoin if the MSTR complex breaks. I think you could make a legit argument that he has been responsible for price appreciation over the last 3 years.
If MSTR breaks and price plummets, odds are the ETFs follow suit. I cannot see any reason why they wouldn't and that has been the massive buy pressure over the last 18 months as retail has been long gone.

Spot on. What is most worrisome to me is if this drop truly is the result of that 10/10 flash crash event, Bitcoin isn't as anti-fragile as we believe if these we're still constrained and at the mercy of market makers.
What I also don't like is obviously something major happened that day. If people did blow up due to getting auto de-levered, I don't like how we don't know who when this is supposed to be a (semi)transparent system. At least we knew with Luna, FTX, et al.
All that being said, the money printer is getting ready to get turned on. Markets are shit, unemployment is spiking, and the very thing that Trump and Republicans hang their hats on looks awful and now they have to worry about midterm elections.

I've started air frying mine. 350 for 8 minutes on regular, 12 minutes on thick cut. Usually flip half way through on the thick cut. Put bread heels in the bottom to soak up grease and prevent smoking. If it isn't crispy enough, I'll then hit it with max crisp setting for a minute at a time until I get the snap I want.
The air fryer is the one household device that has changed my eating. Can make everything in it after experimenting. Hell, you can throw a couple eggs in with your thick cut bacon and have a beautiful soft yolk hard boiled egg.

Yes, which means he could eventually not own any Bitcoin unless you're privvy to knowledge he has completely sold off. If he has, then I'm in full concurrence with you. However, with the way that Gloria talks and carries herself, I'm much more inclined to think she owns none. This coming from someone that thinks Luke is batshit crazy, too.
You can tell most the devs in both camps never really had to work a large organizational setting because this shit would not fly. I've worked F500 and Gov IT for 25 years now and not once have I seen a shit show like this and I've seen some badly managed projects including the nearly billion dollar contract I'm on now.

While I agree with your statement, I don't think his statement says he isn't financially invested in it. Just says no further investment is being made. Technically we have zero clue if any Bitcoin dev has financial stake in it -- all trust, no verify there.
We've had a couple folks are our weekly meetup that are doing the same thing because of how poorly this was handled. One holds a prominent technical role for one of the larger Bitcoin miners.
I really wish Core would take some ownership of how badly they bungled the social aspect of these changes rather than continuing to be arrogant, condescending pricks at every turn. While its too late here, I'd hope they have some lessons learned for future potentially divisive releases.

The only thing that sucks is if you don't pay attention to your debased money balance and then the auto buy fails, you're fee can reset and you've got to start over.

Hope everyone is now noticing many of the VC slags are now pushing the Bitcoin quantum FUD back into the spotlight to the point where you have Ray Dalio spewing nonsense on Squawk Box. Again, if you think the last month plus has been coincidental, please just liquidate your stack and move on.
FYI if you're not hip... RSA/ECC, the basis for SSL is much easier to crack than SHA256 and would be the first to be targeted when quantum is actually a reality. So when you only hear these chucklefucks feign worry about Bitcoin and not everything on the Internet including banking, tradfi, and even Government systems, just turn the fucking channel.

There is precisely 0.0% chance any publicly traded company is going to give away profit unless forced to do so because that opens the company up to lawsuits from said shareholders.
