Last Notes npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Just got my moltbot up and running... its helping me with my presentation for tomorrow at Plan B. We're jsut chatting while i watch it put slides together from the speech i recorded as an episode and i tell it what to fix or do different, it helped me break it down into bullet points and put it in order, and I gave it backgrounds created by my designer and we're just going to town 🤣 I'm not even joking this shit is kinda fucking insane. PSA ! 🚨🚨 ISOLATE EVERYTHING if you are going to use this, seriously not a joke. don't you dare give it direct access to your accounts, jsut forward everything to *its* email and calendar, etc. I'm going to even isolate it on my home network #nevent1q…jee8 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I'm LITERALLY running it right now as of like 30 minutes ago and its legit kinda fucking wild npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann You're actually correct, lo.l. I conflated 2 diff videos and never watched the one i renoted without realizing. He was literally answering the point I brought up in the video npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I tottally didn't watch the video i reposted. I had watched the demo and then renoted this one thinking it was the other apparently. The idea of using this as the way to favorite a driver (the very thing Lyft and Uber wont let you do) is fucking amazing. It's literally the way to *get around* the atomic network problem by letting you make your own. Yeah my comment is completely off and this is such a great idea! Kudos to actually addressing this very thing 🔥 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I literally posted because it WAS cool. I made a note about trying to build up network effects to help make it succeed. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I love anti-Ai takes. What are some of your best ones? 😆 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann One thing you need to understand more than ANYTHING else if you want this idea to work: YOU NEED ONE SUSTAINABLE NETWORK. Do not try to get more driers or adoption everywhere at once. Do ONE city and try to get a threshold where there are enough available drivers and users to actually be sustainable by itself. Then branch out. This will take a very direct and concerted effort though. I would read The Cold Start Problem by Andrew Chen if you want a view of the network effects this is up against. It would be amazing to see something like this succeed, but I think the hard part isn’t building the app, imo. #nevent1q…n9dg npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Dude… calm down it’s just funny. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann https://blossom.primal.net/1245fa00e1c3ec7cff677c9d9776cba51b6fd662b9c726ee5287eda84403921b.mp4 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I think looking back will reveal the time we are living through to be a long political and economic depression that began around 2010. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann If anyone is going to be in El Salvador 👇 https://blossom.primal.net/899eb81f4e6b41bc6578b7999ba86f342458ee13dba9d1186086d43c2a563871.jpg npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I need to push the fix for the hypercores bloating. There’s a part of the cleanup after delivery that gets hung up sometimes and uses up extra space that it doesn’t need to. I have been meaning to get that fixed but we’ve been working on a refactor. Keep an eye out and update when the new versions drop. Right now this is still super alpha so lots will change. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann This is because they *are* using a fish eye lens. It will appear concave and curve the opposite way if your straight line is below the halfway mark of the lens. I can take a wide lens and make any curved object or straight line appear convex or concave or straight depending on where I place the lens in relation. This doesn’t really give us anything of value to say one way or the other. They are obviously using a wide lens if you just look at the close up objects and try to draw straight lines. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Why would the sun be static under one assumption and then not under the other? The question is a simple application either model: is the sun moving across the sky or not? It wouldn’t support either model to take video and have it appear stationary. But obviously if you record for long enough it will move… so how does this apply in any way? My proof: take a video of a blade of grass. Is it growing or stationary? Now do it over a few weeks. What’s the difference? npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Actually I realize I assumed it was vibe coded, but regardless it CAN be vibe coded because I’ve done it 😂 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann This is exactly why we are going to win. 🔥🔥 Things like Nostr, Bitcoin and Lightning SDKs, Peardrive core, etc are going to make it even easier to do secure authentication, simple monetary integrations, and simple sovereign hosting or private connections. This was VIBE CODED people! Even though I’ve not shared our many iterations, I’ve had this exact experience. Getting a basic tool for P2P sharing working in a few hours and then just fixing quirks and UI stuff for a few days to make it feel cleaner. Things like the Pear stack, and Iroh, and Holesail (fyi @nprofile…ta3h drop Tailscale and just use Holesail here, much simpler UX) are huge leaps forward in the ability to self host these things. My hope as well is that Peardrive core makes this so utterly simple to build with that amateur coders could use it in a way that feels no different than simple web development. And what you can do when you unleash people to create anything they can imagine is just wild. We are going to win, but we will be waiting for it to happen until everyone reading this post realizes that YOU CAN JUST BUILD THINGS! #nevent1q…ys7w npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Just a tip, if “[something] flavor” is one of the ingredients, you’re probably eating fake food. GM npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Seriously this episode was awesome and the read was such a fascinating theory. I usually don’t brag about my own podcast but this one was wild to dig into. #nevent1q…rrz9 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Is it? In that case that might be easier than I thought. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I think pressure builds and then things snap when stress tested. 2020 was a stress test of a long tail fidelity loss and cultural degradation, imo. It only revealed the truth that a lot of still sane people weren’t aware of, because the “urban bug men” still looked sort of sane in general day to day operations. It wasn’t until some lower layer reality revealed itself that the delusions and inaccuracies of their mental models were clearly visible. At least that’s how I’ve been thinking about it for the past week or so in the context of that article. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann If you know you know https://open.spotify.com/episode/0a8E6YYkryscg24HGbQ6dW?si=vNvJCFMnT9q_lB8FOcRR6A https://blossom.primal.net/cfbe749a08f642a781995d0d0f3c32b70a0a01007b634ce2402e9bed1844bfcc.jpg npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann This would be a great differentiator if a service could figure out how to zap split this by default when using their client. Not sure the feasibility of that though if there is even a NIP for zap splits or not. 🤔 Would also be interesting to have user choice based on whether they agree or not. You might repost something with the comment “look at this retard” and not want to give them any sats. I’d be curious to explore what’s possible here and if the UX could be made intuitive. #nevent1q…wxlf npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Somebody is running a local LLM that hit the context wall and went delusional 🤣 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Well there are no journalists in the establishment media at all so I don’t know what the role of “journalist” even is anymore. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann There’s probably some truth to that too. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Don’t even go to the comments for a post like that, lol. Was an instant “mute this conversation” 😆 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Freeze everything. Our government is a fucking disaster of corruption and waste. They are driving this country into the ground and frankly they never had any constitutional powers to spend money on 99.9% of the bullshit they engage in. It’s illegal anyway, explicitly and unambiguously so. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann So I barely pay attention to X anymore but I do still post regularly. I muted a post the other day that was doing numbers and found out from an Audionaut that Elon had RT’d it. Suddenly it makes a lot more sense 😆 https://blossom.primal.net/b96559604cf756ea0ccad991ac75ffcc927c3ad2d53fb0bea5216b3552f34b38.png npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I don’t think you have the proper lack of faith as to the competence or ethical grounding of “the authorities.” npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann So you believe the “Learing Center” is a legit business that deserves millions of tax payer dollars? npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Sure Jan 👍🏻 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann This has nothing to do with their response or how they acted. And he didn’t have an obvious camera, he was knocking on the door asking for how to get his kid into the daycare. They were in full lockdown, blacked out windows, and defensive before there was any indication of what was even happening other than a parent enquiring about a daycare. What you are referencing is an imagined concern in a situation that never actually happened. The actual events and their reactions are so horribly obvious that it slaps you in the face. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann The CNN “fact check” was quite possibly the most Poe’s law thing I’ve seen in a year. Live on video they *called one of the daycares* and then asked them if they were a legitimate business, they said “yes” and then the “journalist” was like, “well there you have it.” I legit thought it was Ai. I still kinda want to believe it was Ai because that level of retardation from a “serious” news outlet is difficult to comprehend. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann To be more clear, what you are talking about is a situational evil, not a systemic one. There are countless of these examples to pull from, but they require individual response, they are core to the structure of what is being done. We could spend every day for the rest of our lives focused on one off failures of govt like this (which wouldn’t be a wasted life mind you) and never even catch up to dealing with all of the immediately present problems today, let alone the millions more that will arise every year forever. But what we are talking about that the daycare thing has shone a light on, is a vast, systemic network of fraud that totals in the trillions. A literal institution of fakery designed to rot the country from the inside out by draining it of resources to fund its own destruction. This is of a wholly different category and scope of problem than the situation you bring up. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann That’s not 0.1% of the real problem here. You are focused on a twig and missing the forest if that’s where you think the real cost lies. Proportionality matters. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann 1000% have you not seen the insanity from the politicians, the attacks from Walz, the press events that bussed in a bunch of fake customers and kids, the “fact checks” from CNN? npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann There's an intuitively obvious way to know beyond reasonable doubt that the daycare situation is fraud: If you actually had a legitimate business and someone with 1M+ followers came to your establishment with a camera to post online, you'd be overjoyed with the opportunity to show them around or brag about your daycare. Real business owners pay 10s of thousands of dollars for that kind of exposure. The only reason you would lock down, get vicious, defensive, or violent, is because you got caught in a lie. Period. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann You want to join me in a tax protest? npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann The point of the guns is to control the capital. When you have means to move capital around them it diminishes the effectiveness of the guns. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann If we aren't trying to bend or break the immoral rules of a corrupt system in a peaceful way, then we aren't moving things forward. This is the *purpose* of P2P and censorship resistant technology. To build a better world around the corrupted one. Not to protect criminals, but to protect those who defy criminals in power. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Today's the day https://open.spotify.com/episode/41Uj5866ljHVNC8ci0B1HJ?si=HctYI-FFQuWDQghwOihPnQ npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Gotcha I didn't realize mutes were transferred WoT style and generally think the muting/blocking aspect should be personal, not transmitted unless explicitly agreed. In other words I think it should be "loose automatic white list, and manual blacklist" in implementation. Obviously likely scaling considerations there but i think that's a better default risk trade off in my mind at least. Could be missing something though, haven't thought about this deeply with hard specifics. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann What do you mean "yes you are"? I haven't made a personal statement above. But again I was asking for the mechanism by which WoT is easy to manipulate. Are you saying that bots pretending to be fun or useful in a certain context to get people to follow them and then "turning on them" is the mechanism to propagate fake mutes/bans and that these naturally get spread through the follower network too? I'm asking because i wasn't aware that some of these actions would be automatically adopted if that's what is being discussed. In other words, I was aware that people couldn't get "into" my bubble without some connection to the WoT rather than the notion that if a few accounts *inside* of my WoT would make an unintentional ban/mute for someone that I may want to follow. I actually wouldn't like that behavior generally. People mute for simple opinion, a response, or just being disagreeable. That s a negative thing to "crowdsource" so cheaply, imo. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann My WoT doesn't respond to bots at all. Because i don't follow bots. What measurement or action is responding to this bot activity and why in this scenario? npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann “P.s ... All I see are bitcoin posts, surfers and a few pics of naked dudes with their butts in the air on sunny days. Is that normal here” So wait… it’s not like this over in Bluesky? What do they even talk about? 🤔 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I never saw WoT as "easiest to manipulate," millions of bots would seem to have no effect on it from an internal perspective. Not perfect of course, but what's the better option in your opinion? (I'm assuming WoT here btw or did i miss something?) npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Let me know how it goes. Curious to see other people's results 🙏 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I don't think you understand what "too-big-to-fail" means or where it comes from then. Monopoly is also not a common outcome of free markets. To the contrary it is almost exclusively a result of government interference. If you think you have an example to the contrary, you likely aren't looking at it very hard or are simply recalling what we were all forced to remember without any real understanding from our 5th grade history books. Which is an understandable default, btw. Not a judgement. But it's jsut like believing the free market caused the Great Depression and the govt saved us from it and WW2 finally got us out of it... all are so deeply and obviously wrong given a real investigation into them, but we were all taught the very opposite so that's all most of us "know." npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Govt: "We need your information to protect you from criminals." I mute and move on. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I have to agree tho 😆 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Quite the contrary. If someone runs up to you in the playground and slaps you, the proper response is to punch them square in the face and walk away. The first person was violent and being a bitch, the response was perfectly justified. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I have lost all patience with the moral offense brigade. My patience meter *instantly* drops to below 20% when they come running in to share their imagined slights with the world like they are owed something. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann What was immature about any of my remarks on this issue? As a response to his being offended, yes I jumped right on his bandwagon. I feel no inclination to be mature with my response to someone being an idiot. If they want to remove that from the conversation I’ll happily join them. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Most likely. Theres no suggestion that the US didn’t do this for the benefit of having a massively oil rich and US friendly nation. It would make zero sense to ever believe any govt would be doing this for any other reason npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann 1. I didn’t know there were lots of citizens dead. 2. Can you go ahead and compare it to every single US engagement for the past 100 years and see how it stacks up? 3. If you instant reaction is taking offense and then making a dumbass projection like “YuO OnLy cARe aBOuT US DeAtHs oBViOuSly” over a simple observation then you are only hear to politically masturbate in public and that’s gross and immature af so kindly GFY 😁 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I mean that should be obvious really. It’s a little different but it’s not THAT different, lol. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann My one “really!” Thing about this is that the country wasn’t invaded, the leader doesn’t seem to have been used as an excuse for a forever war and a trillion dollar process of rebuilding with a staggering decade long racket for govt contractors, all to leave them no better off than they started. At least none of that appears to be happening. Because they just went in without any collateral damage, nabbed Maduro, and peaced out. That’s actually so massively different from any engagement the US has been involved in for the past century that I’m actually a tiny bit hopeful that this won’t be the usually disaster that a US military campaign nearly always is. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I think I can make that work. Always down to talk pear stuff npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann What if the shit youre doing is pretty dope though? 🤣 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann How i feel as a vibe coder right now 🤣 https://blossom.primal.net/0776d85fc7a40a843f7560aa229dc28503ec178b5a1a2a8111077af11263bd1a.jpg npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann It means they have nothing meaningful to say and nothing of import to do. They are happy living life entirely within the lines someone else has given them to draw inside of. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann https://blossom.primal.net/0b30ee76225df80fcfad565070053318228c9a8dc8d4b108e6439688fe3f103a.jpg npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I'm not sure I understand your context for this scenario or your point. But from what i can tell from it, this doesn't sound like its on the same page as the point I am trying to make above. My point is that all "studies" boil down to the study and structural analysis of anecdotal evidence. And it is explicitly a trend and common occurrences in unstructured anecdotal evidence that is *the beginning* of all scientific inquiry and lays the foundation for investigating things. When bad, of half-assed science, or broad retrospectives which are extremely unreliable and blend millions of uncontrolled factors, is used to refuse to investigate clear correlations, one should look for a conflict of interest or incentive for why an obvious potential risk is being dismissed and avoided beyond all common sense. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann That's grammar, not statistics, lol npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann lol, in what world do bitcoiners offer no "counter opinion?" Your other point is valid although i think it misses the point, but in my experience, bitcoiners are the most disagreeable people on the planet - with others and among their own 🤣 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann The people who say "but the data says" and ignore the enormous amount of ambiguity and bias in *recording that data,* and the core fact that all studies and all science begins with anecdotal data and personal experience, have completely reversed the logic of science. If you ignore direct experience that occurs with immediate temporal connection in literally 1000s of people, and then shortly thereafter in an order of magnitude more, you've not merely made a joke out of science, you've let the perception of "medical authority" override your common sense. https://blossom.primal.net/3f438b8130095ac6676c5af33014b45ff2aab65b6da550a99320805d35cf0e34.mp4 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I would imagine international law and UN treaties would be the place to look. But otherwise my answer would be “because countries that can do a thing without someone else being able to stop them will do it and that’s just how it has always worked.” One could ask the same question if the millions of horrible things Maduro has done. He just did them an got away with it. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann It'z a way to force a physical action to unlock. For all the successful blocking or screen time management apps, the surest way for success is to encourage a physical action or to enforce some sort of time delay so that the person's default motion memory can't robot their way through whatever the block is. If all you have to do is hit "ignore," then in like 2 times the brain can completely move through that "barrier" without any thought or conscious decision. It becomes little more than the same motion as opening the app itself. The idea of making a physical device to unlock the phone again is pretty clever actually. It's kind of like those alarm clocks that drive around on the floor so you have to chase them to cut it off, lol. I think in the context of what they are trying to do, its actually pretty important and might be the difference between something that is easy to ignore and something that may actually force you to weigh the costs of going back and being distracted on your phone again. At least I'm pretty certain this is the logic behind it npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Happy #Bitcoin Genesis Day When did you last backup your keys or confirm your seed is safe? Do it today. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann You have quite a number of false equivalencies and strawmans in this comment, too many to even respond to sensibly. So I'll just say that the idea of claiming that a piece of data is sound merely because it is a piece of data, will immediately lead you to a million absurd conclusions and contradictions. And its anyone who misses basic incentives and obvious lies that is missing the nuance. It is, without any ambiguity, the extablishment narrative that has almost zero nuance and explicitly shuts down and disallows debate or any questioning of the clear contradictions and falsehoods in the "official facts." npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Consider, 2020 and the story of COVID is going to be in history textbooks soon… and every bit of it is going to be bullsh*t. Now think about everything else you “learned” from a history book. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann “If women ran the world there would be no war… right.” 😂😂 https://blossom.primal.net/02abe93c3cee3de17b1dd002373a221e31011f660b6cdf58339733d0646e92ac.mp4 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Hmm probably 50% if I had to guess npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann It’s… A fucking password manger? This is both retarded and insane from multiple perspectives. Seriously is this real? npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Nah like 98% npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann 30% of the US still believe the dollar is backed by gold. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I actually think it’s fair to consider all of the above, except for Bitcoin, as “unlimited” in their quantity. You can always build taller buildings and humans forever have been making in habitable places habitable. You can always irradiate and put enough energy into nearby elements to obtain more gold and silver, at great expense yes, but no legitimate limit. Therefore the value of all is explicitly capped and cannot reflect society’s growth and prosperity as a measuring tool. The only thing with the scarcity and capacity to carry that weight is #Bitcoin npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann “embarrassment is an under explored emotion, go out there and make a fool of yourself.” https://blossom.primal.net/d8b57cc6020d3f4c16891f0d0d72b0e730f6bb74a83651ce6662e53b7de4d622.mp4 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Where’s the actual article? npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I think I have a referral though that I just forget to share, lol. Yup found it: https://www.joincrowdhealth.com/?referral_code=RTM52N npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Yup. For like 4 or 5 years now probably and the birth of both children. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Was about to say this. It was actually the model pre insurance era and was essentially how insurance began. It’s still the best model and only migrated into today’s bloated insanity due to the explicit bureaucratic menace and middlemanning its tentacles into every aspect of basic medical care. In other words, I can’t see any way it becomes as disastrous as the current system… unless it just ties back into the current system. Otherwise it’s a far better, more direct, an cheaper model for care. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann a. I just explained that I was using an entirely different system and have left the traditional insurance industry. b. You can kindly gfy. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I don’t know what “Tom’s shoes” is but I have faith this was a funny reference 😆 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann Lmao I posted the wrong video 😂 It was one about a patient charged over $1000 with insurance and had a $270 copay, when the “no insurance price” of the very same work was only $44. Now I can’t find it and am wondering if I even remembered to save it. But this video just shows they are doing the same thing to energy provision… which is a terrible omen for our future unless we find a solution to that as well. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann The govt has done such horrific damage to the healthcare and insurance industries that there is an entirely alternative industry of “unapproved” medical professionals and “insurance as crowd funding” being built from the ground up simply to escape the leviathan of insurance/establishment insanity. We won’t fix the idiocy it created, but in a sly roundabout way we will get honest, sensible care and disaster protection by avoiding their system altogether. I have left it and will never look back. It’s little different than fiat vs bitcoin in my mind. Going back is so idiotic that I chuckle in horror at the thought of even entertaining it. https://blossom.primal.net/efa6b37b09f083825990892047d6ab14e4f1d17209838dec0642f224908b97fc.mp4 npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann #asknostr Dear Relays, How do you run the database of nostr notes for users? What is happening on the backend and is there a common standard or is this left up to each relay to decide? ie. is one relay using SQLite and then fishing for the relevant post when a user requests it? While another uses a graphDB or like Neo4j or something, etc? Or is there a standard that is recognized or makes since with nostr in general and everyone is basically using an "SDK' or library that has this sort of thing common across the ecosystem. npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev TheGuySwann I actually dont have any of their red light therapy products but the quality of their other stuff has been really good. The red light stuff in general has always been pretty expensive for anything nice. Unfortunately you are right, its hard to tell what is super cheap and priced high because they can get away with it, versus actually a really good product. That's why i don't venture out much personally. If i find one that I think is good, i tend to go back. But there are some other good brands out there though. My wife has the lumebox smaller light and she likes that one alot. Can't remember how the price lines up against other though.
