The one thing I will say is that getting onto nostr is a bit of a barrier to entry especially to those who don't exactly have triple digit IQs. 😂. However as time goes on, onboarding may get streamlined. Its a give and take. Right now it's hard to get on but lots of smart and productive people are here. When more people come, we have more of an audience and more variety of content, but more competition and more shit disturbers potentially.

I wouldn't call myself a jazz musician but I have taken some jazz training and I have to say jazz musicians are not just winging it all the time as you think. They are the best musicians in the world in my opinion. While you can be a punk rocker and only know four chords and belt out an out of key melody, you cannot half-ass jazz like that. Maybe there is a lot of improvisation depending on what type of jazz, but they are hardly unprepared. Maybe they break the rules but they learn the rules first in order to know how to best break them 😎

I have both android and iPhone. I think the sunami music for listeners would be first priority for an app. I wouldn’t see myself uploading music through my phone. And even if I did it wouldn’t be often. I would be listening more than I would be uploading.

I have been waiting to see people talk about this legal vs lawful topic on NOSTR. Hey @nprofile…5hgd, I know you have played a song or two off our EP but have you heard the song To Be Intended? It is our most metal sounding song and I think would be great for your show! Its a bit on the longer side at 6 mins, but as @nprofile…zjzd used to say..."MAKE SONGS LONGER! 🤣 When the song was being recorded, the owner of the studio listened back to it and said he thought this would be the best song we could ever write! He loved it a lot. What makes this song stand out from most is the tempo difference between the verse and chorus. It's almost subtle because of how natural the transition is, but if you are tapping your foot along to it, you will clearly notice the tempo change. Check 'er out!😎

There is something about being in nature and seeing it’s beauty that can stimulate the creative juices! Us being in Canada we can experience winters similar to what you described. At one point our guitarist moved 4 hours north from where we are and we would visit him up there and the nearest grocery store was 40 mins away. We wrote some good songs during that time! A couple years back we put all our stuff out on the traditional platforms. We mainly focused on Spotify, YouTube, and Facebook for our online presence. But discovering RSS music and nostr music has got me excited for releasing our stuff into those realms. So yeah we have two albums/EPs up on RSS and nostr music right now. Will be releasing more over both throughout the year.
