I turned the external notifications off, and each morning and evening I would send a few messages. It lasted 2 days, 18 hours, and 20 minutes. The other day someone was flying out of DIA to Phoenix with a node on the plane. I tested it at Denver international airport cellphone lot and was very surprised how well it performed. I received a reply from 7 hops away, about 18 miles. Better range than I expected from a small node.
