And two, Steam doesn't have to adhere to a "rejection = no appeal" thing for hentai games, yet they do. And for a while, their own rules regarding all of this was extremely vague. It's better understood now I think, but around Louis' videos, there were a bunch of nonsense rejections, and Steam being vague about their own rules is on Steam mostly
They're not faultless

Steam accept games with nudity but they've been highly fucking inconsistent about a lot of rules, leading to some big cases and big games missing the platform. A few of those being the dev being lazy when they could do outside patches, but I recall that might have been a bit woozy for a some while
Reminder that if Steam reject your games over this once, you cannot appeal, it's over, you don't get to be on Steam, which is a massive deal for devs and this creates a chilling effect by proxy, making the market significantly harder on what is niche games in the first place
