Back in the day they built the largest coal power plant west of the Mississippi
In Utah
Then they decided that they don't want that kind of energy so they converted one of the 3 units to run off natural gas.
The other 3 are supposed to run on green hydrogen and what makes it green is all the solar panels they put up everywhere actually makes an excess in power on a bright sunny day.
So they then transmit the excessive power back to Utah to make green hydrogen.
Did I also forget to mention the whole ass state of Nevada this power travels through?
